 Editor's Note
Twenty years after leaving his hometown in Alabama, African-American Bobby Jackson returns and is reunited with the 'Bama Rascals, the outcast group of friends who supported each other through the tough times of growing up in an intolerant town. The reunion, however, is bittersweet. As the Rascals prepare for their duties as pallbearers on behalf of the deceased baseball coach who gave them hope in their youth, they are forced to reflect on the past and take stock in their current situations.
