Editor's Note

Picking up the slack from the departure of CHEERS from American television in 1993, smart sitcom FRASIER centers on pompous psychiatrist and former Cheers regular Frasier Crane (Kelsey Grammer) as he packs up and starts anew as a radio talk show host in his hometown of Seattle. The series' brilliant ensemble cast includes his prim and proper brother, Niles (David Hyde Pierce); their retired cop father, Martin (John Mahoney); a live-in home care assistant, Daphne (Jane Leeves); a brassy radio producer, Roz (Teri Gilpin); and a charismatic Jack Russell terrier named Eddie, ensuring that Frasier's life is populated with at least as many colorful characters as he was surrounded by back east. Brimming with witty dialogue, sophisticated character development, and classic slapstick situations, FRASIER was a prime example of television comedy at its finest. This collection presents all 11 seasons of the hit show.

Professional Reviews
The DVD Report 10 of 10
Along with Friends and Seinfeld, Kelsey Grammer's Cheers spin-off, Frasier, dominated the prime time television landscape during the 1990's. Grammer plays the role of Dr. Frasier Crane who, fresh off of his divorce from Lilith, moves back to his hometown of Seattle where he lands a gig as a radio psychiatrist. Frasier's father, Marty Crane (John Mahoney), a Seattle cop recently shot in an attempted convenience store robbery is in need of physical therapy. Frasier and his brother Niles (David Hyde Pierce) make an effort to mend their relationship with Marty whose plaid shirts and penchant for sports and beer strikes a dramatic contrast with their wine club, opera house culture...The entirety of the show takes place in mostly three places -- Frasier's radio station where he works with show producer Roz Doyle (Peri Gilpin), Frasier's apartment, and the favorite hangout of Niles and Frasier, Cafe Nervosa. A witty comedic exploration of the nation's clash of cultures (also illustrated by Frasier's run-ins with sports guy Bob "Bulldog" Briscoe), Frasier stands alone as one of the best-written shows in television history. Not a single episode can be considered a dud. - Britt Gillette

5 of 5 Great Price, Great Show Friday, September 04, 2009
Robert Christian from Chicago, Il

I bought the 11 seasons of Frasier set for my Mother. Buy.com's price was 15% better than anyone elses. So much better, I decided to upgrade the shipping to 2nd day delivery. I received the Frasier set two days after I ordered it. It arrived in excellent condition; brand new as advertised. I decided to briefly preview every disc in the set, to make sure there were no glitches. No problems at all. Except : Now, I want to watch all 264 episodes in full. This show is good; funny, funny, and funny. Thank You, Buy.com for a great shopping experience.

5 of 5 Fraiser Thursday, November 06, 2008

We are enjoying one of our favorite shows again. I was a little nervous when the second disc had a few "snags" but then was fine. I, hopefully, am assuming that it was dust. The DVDs came packaged just as you see them in the add.
