| | | Welcome to the Bottom of the Food Chain. Features: DVD, Widescreen, Aspect Ratio 1.85:1, Dolby Digital (5.1), English, French, Spanish, Portugese, Chinese, Korean, Thai, Indonesian Subtitled There is always something bloodthirsty lurking in the Louisiana Bayou. But there has never, ever, been anything like this. A pack of massive, genetically engineered flesh eating fish is combing the quiet waters of the river, searching for prey. Leaving a trail of mangled bodies along the riverbank, the creatures have local authorities scrambling to uncover what is causing the carnage and it quickly becomes clear that they are dealing with no ordinary predator - and these man-eaters far outweigh any killer they have ever come up against. Scientifically bred with a deadly snake and genetically conditioned to breathe both under water and on land, Frankenfish can hunt wherever humans tread. And they're fast. And they're hungry. "...it doesn't disappoint. You'll see plenty of limb-ripping, head-chomping, and torso-tearing here." Dennis Prince, DVD Verdict "...definitely delivers the blood-soaked goods." Mike Long, DVD Crypt
 Editor's Note
The follow-up from Mark A.Z. Dippe, FRANKENFISH stars Muse Watson (I KNOW WHAT YOU DID LAST SUMMER) and Tory Kittles in a story that pits a pack of huge, mutant, flesh-eating fish against the human inhabitants of a Bayou town. A genetic engineering experiment gone horribly awry, these monsters are the result of a cross between a fish and a snake, and can travel on land as well as swim, and they have a taste for blood, leaving a trail of gruesome corpses up and down the river. The local authorities don't realize what they are up against before the death toll mounts considerable, and by then it may just be too late to stop the creatures.

| | Professional Reviews | BeyondHollywood.com 7 of 10 The fact that Dippe does indeed manage to keep Frankenfish from becoming a bore throughout, and manages to distract the viewer from caring too much about the plainly routine plotting is no small feat, and helps to make Frankenfish a genuinely enjoyable affair. Straightforward, reasonably well made and with enough visceral content to keep genre fans happy, for anyone looking for a film about killer mutant fish, Frankenfish would be the one to go for. - James Mudge
