Vacuum sealer works great! very easy to operate even without reading the instructions (reading it will eliminate the trial and error process... locking feature, plastic waffle side down). no more spoiled/frost-bitten food. My Foodsaver arrived extremely quick, in excellent condition and was just what I wanted. I purchased it to replace my broken Rival Seal-a-Meal ( which only broke because it was dropped). This is a more powerful unit and the retail price in stores was approximately 50% higher - a good value! I especially like the locking feature. My other unit required that you press down firmly with both hands until the unit displayed the "hands free" button (a little awkward when you are holding the bag in place filled with food). This unit simply snaps shut on both ends and then you press a button to seal. Was this review helpful?
