To commemorate the 20th anniversary of Fleetwood Mac's landmark Rumours album, the classic Fleetwood Mac lineup-Lindsey Buckingham, Mick Fleetwood, Christine McVie, John McVie, and Stevie Nicks-have reunited for an MTV special, a national tour and a new album. Drawn from three intimate performances on a Hollywood soundstage, the DVD and home videso versions of The Dance provide visual counterpoint to the album. They feature superb new versions of classic Fleetwood Mac material, as well as several new songs.

A 1997 reunion concert of the quintessential members of Fleetwood Mac (Lindsey Buckingham, Mick Fleetwood, Christine McVie, John McVie, and Stevie Nicks) to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the release of their classic, multi-million selling album, "Rumours." Filmed in conjunction with MTV over three nights at a sound stage in Los Angeles, the band performs titles from the album, such as "Don't Stop (Thinking About Tomorrow)," "Gold Dust Woman," "Dreams," and "You Make Loving Fun" as well as such favorites as "Rhiannon," "Say You Love Me," "Sara," "Landslide," and "Over My Head." This was band's first concert appearance with the classic lineup since 1982.

This DVD is excellent we really enjoy watching it on my new 47" LCD TV. The music ia fantastic. however the packaging was not the best it was delivered to me with a broken case I was afraid the DVD might be damaged but to my surprise it seems to be ok. Was this review helpful?

From all the other reviews, I am sure you get the idea this d.v.d. is GREAT! I am only adding fuel to the fire. Buy This One!!!! I have a home theater (13' t.v./ surround sound) and this is the DVD I use to demo to all of my guests. I have heard and watched it a hundred times and I enjoy it more each time. undoubtedly a must for FM freaks. crystal clear audio and video make it a notch above the best selling CD version. Doesnt matter if you own the CD. Get this one !!! The concert ambience sinks in right from track one. A couple of LB's solos come great with divine guitaring. SNicks and MFWood and the rest are at their top...A great buy..Go for it. This DVD absolutely rocks. It demonstrates why Fleetwood Mac tickets were selling for 500+ on their last tour. Lindsey's solos are incredible, Stevie's voice still gives you goose bumps, and the marching band can't be topped. I couldn't recommend this DVD more. Was this review helpful?

If you're a Fleetwood Mac fan, this DVD is a must! Stunning sharp video knocked my socks off. Great video direction, lighting and camera work. The sound was every bit as good as the video. Definitely one of the best live recordings I've ever heard. A quality product from start to finish. Did I mention that the band was great too? Was this review helpful?
