3 of 5 "Poor Picture" Saturday, December 06, 2008
Ginger from Georgia

I bought the last one in the store for my Niece. I tried it out, but the picture is very grainy and distorted not as clear as it shows in the ads. However, I think my niece will still love it! I'm sure it won't matter to her.

4 of 5 My 4 year old loved it! Saturday, December 06, 2008
Tammie from Wayne, NJ
My 4 year old loved this toy! Now, I know why this toy costs so much. It's easy to use, and more fun to play with! The picture quality could be a slight better, but what's a youngster to care about those minor details?

4 of 5 Best christmas gift so far!!! Saturday, December 06, 2008
Sheila from Long Island
I searched for two of these a week before christmas and it was worth it. My 5 year old son went to see some old trains & he took his camera. He could not wait until I got home so he could show me the pictures. The LCD screen needs alot of improving from an adults point of view BUT it is perfect through the eyes of a 5 and 2 year old. My 2 year old loves it as well. She runs around the house taking pictures (including the floor and the wall) She loves it so much she has slept with it for the past two nights. The hunt for two of these was well worth it.

2 of 5 Quality of picture is very low for price Saturday, December 06, 2008
Dana from Collierville
I think I would have been better off buying a cheap digital camera for her. The quality is equivalent to my cell phone camera. Great idea, poor picture quality.

4 of 5 Worth the Money! Saturday, December 06, 2008
Cathy from Boston
I was hesitant to pay this much for a kids camera, but it's so cool! My daughter loves it! You can take approx. 60 pictures with it, but we put in a 32mg card and now she can take 240 pictures! She has her own computer and we have her pictures running on the desktop, so cool!

4 of 5 My 3 1/2 year old grandaughter loved it. Saturday, December 06, 2008
Judy from upstate NY
I was reluctant to spend this much on a single toy for a 3-yr. old, but am delighted I bought it. The double eyepiece is really the key. She uses it all the time, actually captures the images she wants to, and my son tells me the pictures are really pretty good when printed -- I haven't seen them.

4 of 5 Our 3 year old granddaughter loved it!! Saturday, December 06, 2008
Marlene from AZ
It is a very usable and safe digital camera for both boys and girls ages three and up. The pictures that she takes are clear and crisp and as usable as any other adult digital camera. She is tickled with it as well as we are.

4 of 5 My 4 y/o loves it and the 18 mo can't break it!! Saturday, December 06, 2008
Marti from Suburbia
Our 4 year old loves to take photos...we had many of the cieling, floor, the dog's foot, etc. So we decided to purchase this sturdy little digital camera for her. She adores it, and every kid who comes over (from age 14 to 1 1/2) has played with it. It's worth the money!

4 of 5 Great kid friendly electronic toy Saturday, December 06, 2008
Cynthia from Rancho Cucamonga, CA
Great alternative to letting our daughter touch our 'real' digital camara or dealing with the tantrum when we say no. She understood how to use it very quickly without being told ( only 3 buttons really to use this thing). Very kid friendly, durable, and not noisy or annoying. Screen is small but decent to see the photos being taken, and easy to upload onto the computer. Great toy to go home and upload photos onto the computer then discuss what we saw on our walks/trips/playdates. My only complaint is the delete button is a bright red button that my daughter always presses...so as fast as she takes photos she keeps deleting them because she doesnt know any better. I guess its not that big of an issues when most of the shots are of her feet. I'm sure once shes older she will understand not to delete everything right after taking them. I'm very glad I bought this toy and so far she carries it with her everywhere and really enjoys taking pictures of people and things she sees.

3 of 5 Excellent for little ones Saturday, December 06, 2008
Kim from Durham, North Carolina
I like this product because if my daughter drops it, it won't break. This is the main reason I purchased this product. I also bought it for its pink color. Anyway, the actual photographs themselves are not the best quality, but this is fine if your little one is having fun and learning a new skill in the process.

4 of 5 3 Year Old Takes Lots of Pictures Saturday, December 06, 2008
Ken from Redwood city
My daughter hauls this thing around with her all the time. Daddy is a shutterbug so when I take pictures, she takes pictures. She especially likes to review the pictures she takes. We've had a couple of interesting themes: feet, stuffed animals & half-face shots. Thank goodness this thing is digital. In order to make sure you aren't downloading images all the time, you should definitely buy a cheap SD flash memory card to supplement the storage that is in the camera. We added a 256MB card so we tend to replace the batteries when the card fills up. In terms of durability, my daughter drops the camera onto our carpeted floors and tiled floors all the time and there seems to be no impact to the performance of the camera... yet. Positives: 1. The two eye viewfinder 2. The two handed grip 3. Durability 4. Lots of fun and a creative outlet 5. Expansion memory card slot is very useful 6. Lens is set deep into the camera so it's difficult to touch and get dirty Negatives: 1. Batteries are difficult to change but this may have to do with our government mandating screws on children's devices (rechargeables are a must for the longer life and cost) 2. Shutter-lag confuses my youngster (the shutter click sound goes off and the picture is taken a split second after the sound is over) 3. Delete button is too easy to hit (my daughter sometimes pushes it accidentally) and unless you understand the trashcan symbol, you may believe you are browsing pictures.

4 of 5 We all love this camera! Saturday, December 06, 2008
Julie from Richmond, VA
We bought one for each of our daughters (5 and 2 1/2). The cameras are indestructable and easy for the kids to use. The pictures download better than we expected and the kids can go nuts taking pics of each other, toys, and the floor. We can delete the ones we don't want and save money on developing film. I would highly recommend this camera, every kid loves to take pictures!

4 of 5 My 3 year-old loved it! Saturday, December 06, 2008
Josh from Bellevue, WA
This is a very sturdy camera, made to take a lot of abuse. The controls are simple and designed for small hands. My 3 year-old figured out how to operate it in less than 30 minutes. The pictures printed just fine on my home photo printer.

4 of 5 Big hit with my 4 year old!! Saturday, December 06, 2008
Laurie from Durham, NC
We are always asking our kids to pose for memory making photos. My just-turned-four year old daughter rarely has the patience for Mommy taking photo after photo of her. But, now she can take her own photos!! Now she can be just like Mommy, and she LOVES it! It gives her the freedom to take pictures of anything and everything, and she does! No worries about film and developing the film either. The child can see the picture they took immediately after taking it (which is exactly the same way Mommy's digital camera works and that's all she knows and expects). It's extremely easy to use. We showed her what all the buttons did just one time and then she was doing it all on her own--taking photos, viewing the photos and deleting the photos she didn't want to keep. It's been a great gift for her. The LCD doesn't have great photo viewing quality as you might expect. But--for kids, especially young kids, they don't care! We haven't actually ever tried to print any photos or anything like that yet and we've never needed any more photo storage capacity than what the camera comes with. Great buy if you can afford it--it is a pricey kid's toy.

4 of 5 Easy to use for my 5 yr old Saturday, December 06, 2008

My 5 yr old had absolutely no trouble figuring this camera out; the picture quality is better than I expected for a "junior" camera, and it has survived a few drops without injury.

I bought this camera so that my four year old daughter wouldn't be so facinated by my camera all of the time. She loves it! Her pictures aren't the best. However, she is learning and having fun and that is all that matters.

4 of 5 So easy even I can use it Saturday, December 06, 2008
Gina from Philadelphia suburbs
This camera is very intuitive. It took my 5 yr old about 5 minutes to figure out how to use it -- including deleting the photos that she didn't like. It took me less than 5 minutes to organize and download the photos from the camera to my laptop. The print quality is really fairly good too. Worth every penny! Easy to use, fun. I even grab it during the day to take impromptu photos that I never would have gotten had I had to dig out my own camera. My daughter got this for Christmas and still uses it at least once a day to take pictures of her dolls, toys, cats, friends, mommy... You get the picture. ;)

4 of 5 Kid-tough, user friendly Saturday, December 06, 2008
Seanna from Alaska
This is such a great product - my little 4-yr-old photog can shoot and reshoot, erase and experiment with no help from me. Finally a kid camera with a flash, option to use a card or not and easy intuitive buttons. The only downfall is that the pictures aren't a tiny bit higher resolution but its also nice that they are quick downloads - though we haven't printed anything yet. It's definitely the best kid camera out there at a great price. Tatum says it's her favorite camera in the world and loves that she can shoot like her pro mom.

4 of 5 My 4-year old loves it! Saturday, December 06, 2008
Georgia from Port Charlotte, FL
My daughter loves this camera. She enjoys seeing the pictures after she takes them, like "real" digital cameras. It can take the abuse of a young child. Only drawback is the quality of photos isn't that great, but for a young child, it is perfect.

4 of 5 The Smile on my daughters face Saturday, December 06, 2008
Samantha from Euclid Ohio
My daughter is 4 years old and she loves this camera, the picture quality is better then what other people told me and the other reviews I read before getting this product. I was very happy with everything about this camera excet the fact that the batteries die quickly, might want to invest in recargeable batteries.

5 of 5 Great Idea, Horrible Image Quality Saturday, December 06, 2008

5 of 5 The best birthday pressent... Saturday, December 06, 2008
Nicole from Sandy Eggo, CA
This camera is great. I didn't expect much since it was for my 4 yr old, but she loves it. Now I can take pictures without being asked endlessly if she can use my camera. She really likes being able to see what she took and deciding if she wants to keep it. Who knows maybe she'll become the next Ansel Adams.

5 of 5 Your kid will love it Friday, December 14, 2007
Mike from Allentown, PA
We bought the blue version for my four year old's birthday and he loves it. Unless you want to keep uploading pictures, I'd recommend sticking in an SD card. I stuck a 512mb SD card in it and he's put on over 600 pictures so far. After six months of abuse (dropped on hardwood floors, etc), the flash stopped working. My wife called customer support, and without a fuss, they are replacing the camera!

4 of 5 Great product. Monday, August 13, 2007
Kathryn from Champaign, IL
I bought this for my 6 year old step daughter. She absolutley loves it! She has taken pictures of everything! And the greatest thing about it? No film. I can just hook it up to my computer and upload the pictures and she can go on her merry way taking more pictures. She's dropped it 2 or 3 times but it hasn't affected it. It seems to hold batteries pretty well. No, the pictures aren't the greatest...but the camera is only a 1.3MP. It's the same one that's in my cell phone. She's 6...she doesn't need a great camera. Just something good enough for her to play with. It's a toy...not a real camera. She loves it...I'd recommend it to anyone!
