I had burned through my third $40 shredder in 2 years when I saw the reviews for this one. I had a hard time talking myself into it,because of the price. It is not expensive for its quality, but I never saw myself spending over $100 for a shredder.
This machine is great, and the value shows. It eats paper. It doesn't jam. It keeps going.
It is a little big for my taste, but that is because it is a serious shredder and it means business.
If we keep buying tiny little shredders with plastic teeth and throwing them away, what are we doing to the environment and our wallets? Buy this one and stop fighting over every bit of paper and cutting your fingers trying to unjam it and stop buying 'disposable' shredders! Was this review helpful?

I've had several shredders over the years and the Fellows P-77Cs is far and away the best. It is quiet and powerful. It is much easier to feed papers into than other shredders. Even when shredding several papers at once it does not slow down or sound like it is straining. Was this review helpful?

I was replacing a low cost shredder that jams a lot. The Fellowes has not jammed yet even with large paper amounts. It is also much quieter. The confetti type cuttings compress down easily in the large basket included with the shredder. I am very happy with this unit. Was this review helpful?

seems ot work great. quiet, and very powerful. I've only had it fo rabout a month, but so far I am extremely happy with it. plows right through mail with out having to open it up.
