I started using the shredder as soon as it arrived and have shredded a solid 3 or 4 large trash bags full of paper already. It works as described, though jammed on me a couple times with loads of 6-7 pages. Jams didn't take long to clear, and it kept on working afterwards.

I think that it is a great shredder, but it doesn't do CD's which I knew going into it, and I think that the capacity could be slightly more. On the plus side, the shredder is quieter than most and I think that is a big selling point.

We are very happy with our Fellowes paper shredder! It is quiet & reasonably quick. It is pretty low profile, so doesn't take up much more space that an average small trash can. The shredder shipped out quickly & was in great condition! We would highly recommend this shredder!

Lives up to its rating. I've only used 3 shredders in my life, so not a lot of experience here, but this P40 lives up to my expectations. I can shred 7 to 8 sheets at a time. The top is easily removable. The paper isn't shredded quite as thinly as I expected, but it is adequate. It's a good buy for the $$.
