A recording contract with Jive Records led to the release of the reggae and gospel-tinged single "Need U Bad," and the full-length FEARLESS in 2008. Like "Need U Bad" (which appears on the album), the songs on FEARLESS cross the smooth, stylish sound of 21st-century R&B with elements of hip-hop, vintage soul, reggae, and dub.
