Just when his world is back to normal... He's in for the surprise of his life!

Features: DVD

Still young at heart, and fully recovered after having been the Father Of The Bride, George Banks (Steve Martin) finally feels content. His wife Nina (Diane Keaton) loves him as deeply as he loves her. His daughter Annie (Kimberly Williams), and son-in-law Bryan (George Newbern), are happily married and each are responsible, working adults. With his son Matty (Kieran Culkin) growing into a young man, and the mortgage on his dream house fully paid off, George feels he's finally ahead of the game. And that's when his life turns upside down. First Annie and Bryan unexpectedly announce they're going to be parents. Then, a short while later, it's Nina's turn to make the same shocking speech to George. They, too, are going to have a baby! George is reeling. He feels much too young to be a grandfather--and way too old to be a father again. And when Annie and Nina call on the flamboyant Franck Egglehoffer (Martin Short) to coordinate their double baby shower, George seeks out his own unique way to cope with this 90's style mid-life crisis.

"Martin and Keaton are appealing separately and together..."  James Berardinelli's ReelViews
"Big laughs!"  New York Post
"...funny, touching, and highly satisfying..."  At-A-Glance Film Reviews

Editor's Note

George and Nina Banks have just settled down since their daughter Annie's wedding when life hurls another milestone at them - a grandchild. Once again they're scrambling to do everything right for their expecting daughter while facing the midlife crisis of being called "grandparents."

Plot Summary

In this sequel to the hit comedy "Father of the Bride," George Banks continues to fret even after his daughter's wedding -- this time because she's pregnant and he's about to become a grandfather. He experiences even more angst when his wife discovers she's pregnant too. Comic confusion transpires as the beleaguered patriarch prepares for the two new additions to his family.| Joining in the fun are Franck Egglehoffer and his assistant Howard Weinstein, who are now no longer wedding planners but a pair of equally wacky home decorators.

5 of 5 Great Movie! Friday, December 28, 2007
A Viewer from Portland Oregon

We own both Part I and Part II. This one was ordered as a gift since my daughter wanted DVD instead of video (nearly worn out!). Great price and quick delivery too!
