Some tracks are little more than a bass riff, as in DJ Yoav B.'s "Energize": hard and sweaty techno this isn't, but Craig's innovative subtleties penetrate the psyche and percolate down to the hips. | Producer: Yannick L.; Alex from Tokyo; Bj?rn Lundt; Gavin "DJ Face" Mills; Kenny Larkin; Kerri Chandler; Scott Grooves; Sam Holt; Justin Chapman; Carl Craig | Engineer: Joel Mullis; Guido Caliandro; Julien Jabre; Kenny Larkin |
| | Artist Overview | | The prolific Carl Craig is one of the key figures of the second wave of Detroit techno artists, and has contributed to the world of underground dance music under a dizzying array of monikers, including BFC, 69, Paperclip People, Psyche, and Innerzone Orchestra. His recordings, DJ sets, and remixes draw from an eclectic variety of sources, finding the common thread that runs through soul, jazz, "world," and other sounds.
