I bought this for my son who was turning 8, and we could not believe the quality and detail of this micscrope. Our whole family spent hours testing everything in our home from our fingernails to rocks we found outside. Nothing can compare to this micscrope. If you have a traditional micscrope get rid of it and get this immediately!!!.

This didn't look very exciting to me, but my 3 year old son loves it! It's difficult for him to get it positioned properly for the magnifier to work, though. Would also be better if it had adjustable levels of magnification.

This eyeclops is really cool. Easy to set up, focus, and use, once you get the hang of it. The things you can see are incredible. The best is the signature line on a check. It's great for all ages. We show everyone who comes over. Great item.

My 5 and 9-yr old grandsons are waiting for spring to really use this to inspect bugs. They were both impressed to see the magnification, but don't get excited about viewing things unless it involves nature. It's not as easy for them to operate in the beginning as their video games or Legos. It's a great tool for their investigating little minds!
