Everything worked out of the box. Bios is features rich with the option of swtching vdroop on or off. Overclocked an q6600 to 3.6gh and rock solid 1.45v. Paired with msi gtx260 video card.

5 of 5 Best NVIDIA board I have purchased yet! Sunday, November 09, 2008

After having a horrible experience with the 680i I did a tremendous amount of research before I purchased my next NVIDIA board. I purchased the 780I FTW for the pure fact that it was the best I could get besides going with the DDR3 790I FTW. After receiving my board I bench tested it and it worked right out of the box. I installed the board in my Thermaltake armor+ case, installed my Q6600 3.2, then my 2gig OCZ Reaper memory, My 2 Foxconn 9800GTX cards and finished it off with water cooling everything, the computer fired right up and straight to a FF code. I have never looked back. This has been the best mother board I have ever purchased, I have owned Asus boards and other leading brands, EVGA really takes care of its customers and their forum is just top notch. I highly recommend anyone that has had problems with the NVIDIA boards to buy the 780I FTW if you decided to go with DDR2 memory. The cost/benefit of the 790I FTW hasn't persuaded me to make the jump to DDR3 yet...
