Out of the box all was there. All went well first time around. Lots of features, fan inputs galore, the mobo is awesome!

5 of 5 Great Product Monday, September 15, 2008
A Customer from Marysville, WA
Evga always seems to get it right with there motherboards. No complaints here works flawless. Their customer service and support are great. They have a system for updating bios on their boards that is amazing just a cd image you download, burn and boot to. Booting to the disc is all you need to do, it automatically does the rest.

5 of 5 Great Motherboatrd. Saturday, August 23, 2008
A Customer from San Diego
Pros: This motherboard is a great motherboard. No problems with it at all. I mean you do pay a good price. But its worth every penny. Its great for everything. Nothing bad about the modo. The only problem i had was that the power for the led connector was a 3 pin female. and the power to connect it is a 2 pin male. Nothing a 1.49$ adapter wont fix. Overall a great board.

4 of 5 PS2 Port dead Saturday, July 26, 2008
Shawn from Amarillo, TX
Overall a great board. It's fast and accepts the Wolfdale with no issue. The only thing that aggrevated me was the PS2 port for the mouse was dead. OK, switch to USB. I did and all is fine but it was disappointing that all ports didn't work. I emailed tech support with EVGA but no response. That's a little scary. Outside of the PS2 I haven't had any problems so I give it a thumbs up. I feel like this board will take me into the future without issue. The warranty is great. Get the latest driver from Nvidia. Don't mess with the one that's bundled. I'm running an E8400 at 3.0 and a 9800GTX OC without problems. The crazy thing 3DMarked at 13422 out of the box. I was hoping for mid 12's so I'm happy.

5 of 5 EVGA - Fantastic is hardly good enough Tuesday, June 17, 2008
Jeff Jackson from Louisville, Kentucky
I searched for literally weeks looking for the best of all possible motherboard features, future expansion, support as well as keeping cost in line. I found it all with this EVGA 780i board. I now have 2 (one for test and the other for production) - absolutely awesome. I would encourage everyone who wants a cost effective solution and a board that has all the bells and whistles to really - really give this board your consideration. Both boards fired up and have been in operation now for several weeks and they are rock solid. Highly recommend.

4 of 5 Great Motherboard Tuesday, May 06, 2008
A Customer from El Monte, CA
Lots of features in the Bios. Easy to build for first timer. Everything worked fine on the first boot. However, there was an issue with the HD audio connector and the front panel audio on the Antec 900 case. The board itself was very stable and great overclocking (use good CPU cooler). There were many SATA on the board. Overall, I am happy with the board.

5 of 5 What a price! Monday, April 21, 2008
A Customer from Spokane, WA
That's the first thing I thought when I stumbled on Buy.com's price for this very excellent motherboard. It's been quite some time since I used a non-Intel chipset, but I had to make the move to at least the 680i series because I wanted to run dual 8800GTs. So, I found this motherboard and was impressed with the layout and the features. It's a solid overclocker, although the Vcore does drop a fair bit below BIOS settings. Still, I'm able to run my Q6600 stable on air at 3.6GHz and I'd say the performance is every bit as good as my P35-based P5K Deluxe board I upgraded from. Installation went as smoothly as any install I've ever done. For the price, I don't think any other board comes close to this one in terms of features.

5 of 5 Great Overclocker Saturday, April 05, 2008
Merlin from Atlanta, Ga
I have two of these boardsm one has Intel E8400 CPU and the other has a Q9450 CPU. I had ordered the Q9450 from Buy dot Com. But it was out of stock for too long, So I went to a local Micro Center. Be careful ordering for buy dot com... if you cancel your order in time, it's hard as hell to get your credit back...I'm still trying to get 351.68 back from them. Also others are saying not to use buy dot com. I think this is the last purchase I will make from them. The prodocts are fine.

5 of 5 Great price on a great mobo. Sunday, March 02, 2008
Mecha_Daddy from Raymore, MO
This EVGA 780i mobo has a very nice layout. Can run tri-sli obviously. Lots of bells and whistles. Very easy bios tools to overclock. Right out of the box I put it in a Stacker 830 case, E8400 proc, 8gb Gskill ram, 2 x EVGA 8800GT's and got nearly 15000 3dmark06 score; without any oc. If this board is still on sale, then jump on it! It's at the same price level as an Asus 680i Striker board. (at least when I bought it) With support for 45nm procs and more you can't go wrong.

3 of 5 A few problems Tuesday, February 26, 2008
A Customer from tx
I had to update my bios for my cpu when I got the board. I found this difficult to do when this was a new build using no floppy drive. The biggest problem I have and still no solution was the drivers for XP and the sata DVD drive. It seems this is a known problem only with xp and the sata DVD causing a blue screen. I switched to ide on my cd drive and everything is now stable. I believe the alternative to the sata dvd drive is to not install the media shield or move to a different OS.

4 of 5 A SOLID BOARD Wednesday, February 20, 2008
Tom Pierce from Grants Pass ,Oregon
mobo posted the first try. all temps are lower scince i'm using liquid cooling. the MCP although runs @ 59c - 61c in bios. one concern was it would not do a fresh install of vista. possible future bios update will correct the issue. did install xp with no problems. this mobo has good potential as long as memory manufactures produce ram rated past PC2-8500. alot of good reviews @ newegg but i bought it @ buy.com as it was less $. ordered it 2-14-08 and had it the next day.
