Epson Stylus Photo RX595 All-in-One Printer

I bought this for my in-law-folks and they love it. The photo quality is super. The features that I personally like are that it can scan documents into PDF files and print directly to printable CD/DVD. But, the inks are too expensive. The printer uses 6 cartridges. Each costs about $12-15.

This is my second Epson Printer. The only reason I had to replace my old Epson printer was because I needed a Scanner and when I saw this and the price I purchased it. And I am very happy with the performance of the scanner and the printer.

Bought the Printer with the cheep camera with it. For under $40 I got an awsome scanner/printer/copy machien. The keychain camera my kid can have. Easy hookup, Great quality. FYI- Buy a USB cable since the printer doesn't come with one. I would recommend an extra long one, since the hookup for the usb is INSIDE the printer, towards the front. It also has the picture bridge hookup in front, and has the ablilty to print to CD's. It's so easy to set up I even had my mother purchase one. Its simple. You don't even need to hook it to your computer if you don't want to. If you need a printer, or a scanner....you should really consider this one.

I bought this printer for the main purpose of printing high quality photo prints and printint on to DVD media. This machine does an amazing job on both of these features so i am more than satisfied. When high quality printing, printing on Glossy Paper is a must! the printouts come out unbelievable. The printing on DVD makes DVD media unique. It only takes a few minutes and is high quality. Completely satisfied. Oh yeah, Scanning is great too!

I love the "all-in-one" printers from Epson, and this is our second one. It is sleek jet black, and prints like a "stealth fighter!" I plan to use it to print on "printable" CDs and DVDs, as well as the stand-alone copy feature (color or B/W), etc. Of course it is a great printer for your computer, has excellent scanning capability. (If you haven't used a scanner, it is worth learning how -- you can then scan photographs, use Optical Character Recognition to scan a paper of text, which converts it as though you typed it! a real time-saver.) And what a "give-away" price! Can't go wrong with this unit!

After searching all my local stores (Wal Mart, Best Buy, etc.) I decided I'd order this printer from Buy.com... It had more features for a better price than anyone else offered, and you can't beat free shipping! The printer has impressed me on more than one occassion. It's fast, quiet, and prints excellent quality images. It's very simple to set up and operate. The best part is it's totally compatible with Windows VISTA! Make sure you install the drivers from the provided disc BEFORE plugging this printer in to an available USB port on your computer! I use the printer with a new Compaq laptop and I couldn't be happier with the Epson Stylus Photo RX595!

This is a great printer for the money. Fast print of photos with super color output and great print of black and white with super fast print. A great buy. This is a very easy printer to understand and use.

We LOVE this printer!! I have not seen an inkjet printer yet that performs like this one. We have had 2 HPs and one Lexmark over the past 5 years, and had just bought a Canon MX700 that we returned within 30 days. This Epson printer far exceeded our expectations and blew us away. The photo prints are beautiful and are as good as professional prints, it is truly lightning fast, comes with software that doesn't crash or bog down your computer (pay attention, HP), is easy to install, robust, and intuitive to use. We are actually having a lot of fun with this and learning new things about it every day. I recommend getting the Epson paper. We tried the Canon 4x6 glossy paper for photos and it was OK, but the Epson paper (we bought glossy and ultra-glossy) was noticeably better. It may be that it is manufactured to optimize their particular printers, but it really does make a difference. The photos retain a really glossy, professional look to them. The Claria ink is an impressive improvement over the last generation of ink. It is dry before your print comes out, and it lasts longer than most ink cartridges as well. Exceptional quality and value for a printer in this price range. Tip: Your first few prints will not be of optimum quality until the unit gets primed. We ran the print head cleaning (takes just a minute) and ran about 8-10 photos through. Everything after that was beautiful.

The printquality on this printer is outstanding. I love the fact that I can scan documents into PDF file. The bad thing is that it does not come with a printer cable!!! It also is very big

My experience with this printer has been very good. It was easy to set up and install. The print quality is verrrrrry good. However I was misled by the buy.com description that implied the printer is already Bluetooth capable when in fact it is an add on accessory for $40.00 (US). I called Technical support, which is average at best, to clarify the Bluetooth ability since the documentation mentions nothing about it but hopefully you will not have to call them.

This beats out all other all in ones (without fax) because it has the ability to print right onto printable cds and dvds. that makes it more appealing. The print quality is excelent on this, its better than my HP photosmart 1210's quality. It was pretty easy to hook up and looks nice. I would highly recommend this.

I bought this printer after reading professional reviews comparing Epson, Canon, HP, and Kodak All-in-ones. Those reviewers were right on when they put this printer at the top of the pack (and they dropped Kodak from one review because it just couldn’t compare at all).</br></br> I shoot on a Pentax K100D 6MP DSLR and the prints from the RX595 are _phenomenal_! With an 8x loop and squinting I can only just barely see ink pixels, and I have good eyes. The color reproduction is as close as I have ever seen on an ink jet photo printer. It may be my monitor but the printer seems to boost the color saturation and contrast just a bit, but those setting can be tweaked on-board. But the prints look like they came from a professional printer 4x the cost! It even accurately reproduces the JPEG compression artifacts (shoot in RAW and save to JPEG only once or use TIFF!). </br></br> The Epson reads any JPEGs from the memory card and is not limited to the DCIM folder, which means you can edit your photo, save it back to a card, and then take it to the printer to print. The built in LCD screen is a bit weak but you shouldn't be using it for anything more than picking out the photo you want to print anyway. </br></br> The scanner is fairly fast with no noticeable warm up time for B & W or color. Color photo scans are quite fast and quiet with no visible moiré patterning and accurate color. It can also scan directly to the memory card or USB flash drive which is a neat feature. It can save to JPEG or PDF.</br></br> Be sure to buy a nice long USB 2.0 A-B cable because none is included and you loose nearly a foot of cable routing it to the jack up inside the printer. That said, I have not even used the computer with it yet because everything can be done as if it was a stand-alone unit (and I have a black & white laser printer for documents).</br></br> So, if you have a good camera (ie. DSLR) and you use good paper, the prints will blow your socks off. The scans and copies are quite nice but not as praise worthy as the print quality.
