5 of 5 Epson photo paper Saturday, March 22, 2008 me from Sacramento, CA
I prefer the matte finish for large, framed prints. Glossy tends to give you a "double reflection" behind glass. The Epson paper works best with my Epson R1800 printer, and Buy.com has the best price with the economy shipping. I've never waited more than two days for arrival. Was this review helpful?
4 of 5 Great Single-Sided Paper Tuesday, September 25, 2007 Amy from New York, NY
This paper is fantastic. It is a high quality single-sided paper. I couldn't find any information before I bought stating whether it was double or single-sided, so I got it hoping for double-sided capabilities, which it does not provide. The back side has a slightly yellow tint, so you can't really even "fake it."
Just wanted to pass this info on in case anyone else is looking for the same thing.
Other than that, the paper is of really high quality and my prints have turned out beautifully. If you are a fan of matte finish, like I am, then this is a terrific product. Was this review helpful?
4 of 5 Very good photo paper with good color and detail Wednesday, February 08, 2006 martin s. from louisville, ky
While I still prefer the punch of glossy paper (such as Epsons S041126 A4 glossy) this will definitely do in a pinch. Paper has good thickness and weight to it and absorbs the ink quite well (though photo setting results in better image than heavyweight paper setting) while retaining good vibrant colors and detail. Other than having a semi-gloss to add richness to colors, this is a very good and solid paper to use (also note that you can cut this into 8.5x13 sheets for use such as dvd cover art or the like, and double the effective sheet number from 50 to 100 usable sheets). Also note that when cutting the paper after printing the areas with ink do not fray or chip. Was this review helpful?
