Bought this item to use for backing up my compact flash cards on a recent trip. It was easy to backup the cards and the screen a nice size to view pictures. Haven't used many of the other features.

I have been wanting to purchase for some time. I use it for backing up my memory cards and works great. I shoot mostly raw and one of the few products that support raw. I also like the size of the viewing screen and the playback modes. Still learning some other features.

This device was everything I expected and more. Saving pictures to the hard drive using the backup utility is a breeze. I went to Alaska recently and took more tham 4000 high resolution pictures over a 17 day period. Using this device rather than my laptop saved time and space. Viewing the pictures in detail and immediately sharing them with ther group was a great experience. My air travel was also enhanced by the ability to play my .mp3's and mp4's. I can't say enough good about this product. It was worth every penny.

The P-3000 wiever is a marvel. In a two short weeks, I have moved up and down, to SD cards and CF cards and off, some 400 photos. From a 1 GB SD card that I moved the pictures to, the local pharmacy have printed for me 215 4x6 prints ($0.19 each), fast, and now I can decide which ones I will run through my ADOBE Photoshop Elements 5.0. Not a bad deal. P-3000 is a bit expensive, though, and a full $200.00 more for a P-5000 (80 GB hard drive)does not make a sense, unless you are from the Kennedys family.

This product exceeded my expectations by 100%. Backing up your files on P-3000's 40 GB internal hard drive, organizing them, selecting/separating pictures worthy of printing and moving them into new files to be burned on CDs/DVDs later is a snap. And viewing your pictures in detail before you make your decision, on an excellent LCD panel is a great experience. No need to carry expensive laptop to download your pictures in the evening, just to be sure you don't loose them. Buy.com shipped me this product in less than 24 hours and I still think it was a little extra money well spent.
