The N1 chassis design provides a single slot for a new advanced generation of modules, the Matrix DFE series modules. All DFE modules, including PoE, are supported, however, the N1 chassis does not supply PoE power to PoE-capable DFE modules. Modules installed in the N1 chassis interface to the chassis backplane utilizing the FTM2 connector.
