Energizer has just come out with a new kind of battery, Energizer e2 lithium batteries. These batteries are great. The initial price is a little high so I felt that I was taking a chance in buying them. They were advertised as lasting up to 7 times as long as other batteries, so I figured it was worth spending the extra money just to see how long they would last. I have not been disappointed. I've been using them in a battery-powered radio that I play about 12 hours a day. The first pair of batteries just finally gave out. Based on the length of usage, I am estimating that two packages of batteries will be enough to run my radio for close to a year. To me that is an outstanding bargain and I am going to keep using these batteries. They pay for themselves over time by such long usage. Was this review helpful?
