This Ni-MH batter is 10x better than the old ni-cad. No memory effect, longer lasting, and better range. This is the battery that makes a good phone GREAT! Do not buy another Panasonic ni-cad. Was this review helpful?

ER-P511 works great
I purchased one of these 6 months ago to replace the NiCd battery Panasonic provided with the phone. It's been great. It fits well (exact fit) and it provides long talk-times. Just the way Panasonic should have sold the phone to begin with.

Thank goodness someone finally made available a replacement for the P-P511 that is an actual improvement. Talk time is 5 times better on my phones...so good that I actually replaced a brand new P-P511 with the ER-P511. Great product and I highly recommend it! Was this review helpful?

The factory-supplied battery died within 1-year. This is a workhorse battery that won't die, no matter how much I talk on the handset speakerphone. Highly recommended for < $11. Was this review helpful?

I orded 2 of the Energizer ER-P511 batteries to replace the stock battery in our Panasonic cordless phone handsets. With the original battery, the handset battery level was very unreliable - full power one minute, beeping due to low power the next minute. The ER-P511 battery has completely eliminated that problem and has been working perfectly! Also, the price at buy.com is great. Another electronics retailer that thinks they are the "best buy" (get it? :-) ) wanted about 2 1/2 times more than buy.com. Even with shipping, buy.com's prices was only about 1/2 of the retailer's price.
Shame on Panasonic for not providing a better stock battery in the first place. The phone itself is great. Was this review helpful?

I have 4 of Panasonic cordless phones; their original batteries were always running out too quickly--those awful NiCd's were sooooo frustrating. Initially, I bought only two batteries because I was a little weary about the website and the low price, every other place I searched had the batteries for about double the price, the actual store prices were almost triple. I've had the batteries in use since the first week of Feb/05, and now, three weeks later I just ordered the other two batteries needed, also from Buy.com. The batteries are truly great! We just ordered four of these batteries for our Panasonic expandable phone system and so far they have been great!
The original batteries in our system would last at best 25 minutes before having to recharge.
The new energizer batteries last for hours!
