The sound is excellent (even has a bass boost). For the songs that only sound good cranked, this machine can do it. I have no problem with my playing my tapes. I have not tried to record anything yet. The sounds of my cds and tapes are just great.
The machine is small in size so it doesn't take up much room, it is very light and portable, and the thing is just cute looking. I'm enjoying it tremendously. Was this review helpful?

I wanted the Sony Psyc (CD-Radio-Cassette), but apparently no longer being manufactured. I found this one about the same size with similar features and decided to take a chance on it. It is a grand little machine with great performance, plus a remote control. When you rewind the cassette it doesn't have an auto off, but that's minor. Sound is good and machine is very versatile for my purposes (I move it around, listen to a lot of books, and use it for my exercise music, both on CD and cassettes. I bought one for my sister and will probably buy another one for my friend. Was this review helpful?
