Since Acer took over eMachines the build quality and price have both greatly improved. The real advantage of this PC is the use of generic parts inside. Nothing is proprietary and you can easily buy replacement parts from thousands of PC component sellers. For this particular machine, the price/perfomance "bang for the buck" is simply outstanding! I spec'd out the individual component prices from my hardware wholesaler and I could not hit a lower price point....plus I'd have to build it and install the OS. This PC is an amazing value. I've been repairing and building computers for over 25 years and I'd recommend this PC to ANYBODY. You simply cannot beat the value and Acer makes some great hardware.

When I first got it I had to load all my normal files/website access, etc. Two separate times internet explorer wouldn't pull up at all and I am fairly computer savvy (no expert by any means but above average). A simple restart fixed that though. Now it has been running very well for the past couple weeks. Great Value!
