Editor's Note
Made by two members of the esteemed de Anda family of Mexican filmmakers, EL GUARDAESPALDAS (THE BODYGUARD) stars Gilberto de Anda and was directed by his brother Raul Jr. A tough-guy bouncer is hired by a local crime boss to act as his bodyguard. However, as he learns more about what his boss is involved in, the bodyguard finds his work increasingly distasteful.
