5 of 5 Easy to use Wednesday, April 22, 2009
A Customer from Jacksonville Florida

Worked great right out of the box, no setup required, for such a small simple device has great sound quality

5 of 5 Works well with MacBook Tuesday, October 28, 2008
A Customer from Baltimore, MD
Works great from both the on-board USB bus and from the powered USB on the back of my Apple Cinema display. Easily controlled from Skyoe preferences and from Leopard system sound preferences. One thing to watch for (as mentioned in another review) the microphone side of the adapter is balky when plugged into a USB bus that is already in use. I power-cycled the bus and then rebooted the MacBook with the adaptor plugged in, and the problem cleared.

2 of 5 mic jack does not work Thursday, July 03, 2008
A Customer from Austin, TX
The audio jack works ok with plug-and-play. The mic does not work at all. There seems no a suitable driver or solution to solve this issue. I found several driver files on the web for PD552 but none of them worked --- the deivers could recognize this device and the installation failed.

4 of 5 Simply works Monday, June 09, 2008
A Customer from Renton, WA
My admin box at work does not have a sound card, and since I'm not allow to install hardware, such as a sound card, to a corporate machine, this is the next best solution. I listen to Pandora at work, and the sound comes through nice and clear, with full range of adjustability (on Windows XP). However, the sound will cut out for a split second from time to time, but I think this is due to the CPU and not the device itself. Another thing is that the headphone jack is hard to push in all the way without some force, so for a while I was listening to mono and had thought this device did not have stereo. Once I pushed the jack all the way in, I was getting clear crisp stereo thru my headphones. I did not test the mic function on this device, but over all I'm very satisfied with this purchase.

4 of 5 Works well but there's a catch Tuesday, April 08, 2008
Mr. Dough from Rochester, NY
I got this for my daughter's laptop since her headphone jack is broken. It plugs in and loads right up in Vista, very easy to use. The catch: it's unspeakably LOUD!!! Only usable if you are careful to turn everything way down at the application level. I haven't given it to my daughter yet because I don't want to damage her ears!

4 of 5 Easy to use, but poor audio quality Saturday, March 15, 2008
Bennion from Orem, UT
It's definitely a quick and easy way to get audio working on a computer, without worrying about drivers or anything like that, but it has very bad audio quality. There's a fair bit of hiss and fuzziness in the audio. If you're using it for Skype or YouTube videos and you don't care about quality too much, it's ok, but for music I'd highly recommend spending a little more and getting something with decent quality.
