5 of 5 I'm happy with this purchase Tuesday, September 23, 2008
Charles from Everett, WA

I bought this bike a while back and have been using it fairly regularly. I’m 300 lbs. and it’s sturdy enough to hold me. I would recommend this type of exercise equipment for large people like myself as it’s easier on the joints. It offers a lower impact workout than walking or running which allows you to actually get a full 30 minutes of cardio in without joint pain. On the down side: The computer is not backlit, so you need to work out in a well-lit place to see the readout (but the numbers are large and easy to read). The pulse rate monitor is not at all accurate (you are actually higher than what it reads). Also, the peg used to hold the seat in its position seems to come loose once in a while forcing you to stop your workout, re-adjust the seat position and go back to your workout. Finally, if you’re a short person (< 30” inseam) I would not recommend this bike. I’m 5’8” with a 32” inseam and I have to use the shortest setting to comfortably reach the pedals (with my back on the backrest).
