5 of 5 First Rate But A Little Overbearing Thursday, April 16, 2009
Kirk Carpenter from Tucson Arizona

I like everything about this little printer and almost everything about the DYMO software. I like it's small footprint and the speed that it produces the labels. I really like the postage scale and how well it integrates with the the postage software and printer. Labels are clean and quick without the need for ink. The Address Finder software is a nice little bonus that quickly looks up your address on the net, makes corrections as necessary (e.g. changing Court to Lane), adds the Zip+4, and superimposes the bar code. Look out for the software in one area. If you ask on installation that the label printer function be added to your software applications (MS Word for example), it will change the Windows default printer to the label printer. All in all a great little tool.

5 of 5 Simple Thursday, March 19, 2009
A Customer from Bradford, PA
Great product. I have used Dymo label printers for years and final purchased the Twin Turbo so I can print postage without having to change the rolls. Nice to have the scale that inputs the weight into Dymo Stamps.

4 of 5 Great solution, a couple of quirks Thursday, September 04, 2008
A Customer from Falls Church, VA
This is a really convenient and fantastic solution. One of those things that once you buy and get used to, you start wondering how and why you ever did things the old way. A couple of things potential buyers might like to know before buying... Comes with Dymo Stamps and Dymo Labels software, both work great and are easy to use. Dymo Stamps works via the Endicia.com mailing service, but with the added benefit of no monthly fees, you just pay for and recharge postage as you go using a credit card (after you download and install your software and sign up for a DymoStamps account thru Encidia, be careful not to click the "upgrade plan" button on the online account settings page or you might lose your pay as you go status and might have to start with a brand new account). I believe Dymo Stamps lacks a few USPS shipping categories and options, like Media Mail, and Delivery Confirmation... There are Mac and PC versions of the software, but you can't use the printer with the same DymoStamps account you created; you are forced to create and maintain two separate recharge accounts with separate balances. No username, you'll have to remember a six digit Account # instead, you can save it, but if you need to reinstall you better write that account number somewhere safe first. And as far as I could tell, there is no way, or at least no easy way to change your account pass phrase (or password)... Like all things electronic and digital, the 5 lb. digital scale that came with my package stopped working a couple of weeks after I got it. I called Dymo and had it replaced with a brand new one without a hassle. They sent me a new one with a return label to ship back the old one. It was so easy to get a new one from them I thought it was too good to be true, maybe I just got lucky. But I began to wonder if this was a common problem with their scales and whether I'd have to go thru this again; it's been 6 months since then and the scale is still working fine... Postage and printing is a breeze after you've got it all setup. User interface is easy to get used to, pretty straight forward, DymoStamps software is especially easy to use. Just take it slow and easy first few runs and make sure you know which label roll you're printing to before confirming. I recommend not turning off print confirmations until you get the hang of it... These are a few things that I would've liked to know before buying. However, with that said, and given the value, pleasure, and convenience associated with using this product; I've been able to overlook the very few shortcomings, I enjoy using this product, it saves me a lot of time, and I'm very grateful for it... hope this helps.

1 of 5 Got blocked part way- Frustrating Monday, June 02, 2008
Dr. W. from Yakima, WA
I have not been able to use this product. It looks spiffy, and seems like something quite cool, but when I was trying to sign on to make a postage account I had to take a break for a couple of hours. When I came back the web page had timed out. I tried to back track and start over and it wouldn't allow it. I called the tech support number and was put on hold. Then I got to record the message with my number. Later, someone called back but I was busy. So.... telephone tag and what not. I don't have time for that. This device was to save time with, not spend it. I have not been able to re-start the process as if a new person, from the software, and basically I have not been able to use the product at all. It would have been nice if they had an option to email the tech support people.

5 of 5 Replaces Expensive Mailing Machines Wednesday, May 28, 2008
Genochemist from Glen Mills, PA
This is a great, inexpensive alternative to the commercial mailing machines that can cost $250/month to rent. I had this new machine set up and printing postage within a half hour. The only pitfall I have run into is that you could potentially print postage to the incorrect roll. So be sure to print a test stamp or at least look to see that you are printing to the correct side, in my case the right roll prints the stamps. Machine is super quiet. Scale is accurate and works great. Easy to change rolls. It does take 2 USB slots to run, so I bought an extra 4-port USB hub. Overall, I am thrilled to be saving $$$$! Buy.com had the best price!

5 of 5 Fast and convienient Wednesday, December 26, 2007
A Customer from Hampton, VA
I bought this mailing solution mainly to save me the time and expense of going to the post office. I also wanted a speedier way to print one-off address labels as opposed to opening Word, creating the label and then printing on a sheet of labels. This printer was very easy to setup, the software integrates well with Quickbooks, Office, etc. for almost instant address label printing. While it does add to the overhead expenses I think it will more than pay for itself in time (and gas) saved not running to the post office.

4 of 5 Be Careful with Printing Monday, December 24, 2007
A Customer from San Antonio, TX
Generally, I think this will work out well for my purposes. I mail a fair amount of 2 to 4 oz. items, so this printer will be convenient compared to trying to keep and figure various combinations of stamps. No monthly fee is a plus. The setup and use of the printer is easy and seems to work well, so far. I like the combination of 2 printer spools, which allows easy print-out of mailing labels and postage. But be careful about spool settings. My first attempt at printing postage went to the wrong spool. There does not seem to be any way to get a refund from Dymo for misprinted postage. It seems we should be able to at least accumulate the mis-prints and send them in for a refund.

5 of 5 Nothing but Kudos! Thursday, December 13, 2007
cutter from Hurricane Alley, LA
I was fortunate enough to find this on sale at Buy.com, and thought I would give it a try. Well, am I happy I did. I was leary it was going to be difficult to set up, but it wasn't. In 10 minutes, I was putting postage on envelopes. I couldn't be more pleased. It has added the professional "look" to my labels, letters and postage, not to mention the EASE! One, two, three... and you're on your way. Setting up your postage account is also a breeze, you can buy in whatever price increments you please. The labels and ink are of high quality. The ink does NOT smear! It's quiet, and leaves much less of a desktop footprint than I thought. This is actually the first item I've ever taken the time to review something...it that GOOD! If you need help in the office, or just want to dress up your look, don't hesitate, even at full price.

5 of 5 Excellent So Far! Friday, November 30, 2007
Harley3000 from Farmington Hills, MI
I've only had the DYMO Desktop Mailing Solution for just a couple of weeks but so far I'm very impressed! The Good - Small footprint for both printer and scale. Very quiet printing. Quick response to software commands. No ink required! The scale has tare and/or hold feature for weighing large or empty boxes first. Best of all the Endicia software account for stamps has no monthly fees or hidden costs. You pay for the postage in a minimum of $10 purchases and bank it. Say goodbye to Pitney Bowes. The convenience of having one roll for stamps and another roll for labels is outstanding. The label software is quick and easy. The Bad - You will need an Internet connection. Summary - Very convenient and after the initial cost you only pay for the labels. I searched all over for the best price and Buy.com came up number one. I've purchased from them before and Buy.com is recommended.
