I received the product and disappointed to find out it's not CEF-15NC as advertised. It's CEF15DX4N not CEF-15NC. The latter has 2400mAh and is newer model than CEF15DX4N. Was this review helpful?

I purchased this charger because the two I had purchased previously broke down. I first purchased a charger that took about 6 hours for a full charge. Second, 2 hours. This charger took appoximately 5 minutes to charge a single AA 1500mAh battery!
In my opinion, the drawbacks are:
1) The charger comes with the base unit, a pretty bulky power adapter, and power cord, all of which have to be connected. A single unit would make things more simple and time-saving.
2) The price was on the higher side @ $31 & change. Buy.com is great though with quick, free shipping and no sales tax.
3) It's quite noisy.
Other than these rather minimal drawbacks, the unit performed outstandingly! (Of course I have only tested the one battery thus far.) It came with a 4 pack of AA 2000mHa pre-charged batteries that are working very well in my digital camera.
= Happy.

I like this charger better than the Energizer 15-minute charger because it has a pigtail for plugging in, rather than plugging in with the power transformer cube.
Works well. It'd be nice if they packed the 2650mah batteries with it rather than the 2500mah ones, but that's a very minor quibble.
I use nine Nikon SB-*00 flashes (one SB-800 and eight SB-600's). I have a 15-minute charger for each one, nine chargers in all. That way I can charge three four-battery sets for each flash in under an hour. How cool is that ?
Some folks whine that 15-min. charges shorten battery life. Though there's probably some truth to that, it's a small price to pay for the speedy charges for we who have no dang time.

The charger is good and works fine as well. However, I was looking for a travel charger that would support an input voltage of 100v - 220v, so that it could be used in Europe as well.
But, due the lack of additional info, i find myself in a spot wherein i have to buy a step-down adapter as well.. Was this review helpful?

The Duracell charger with batteries I purchased from Buy.com are great. They did charge in 15 minutes just like the stats say. I am very pleased with this purchase although time will tell how the batteries stand up. I would also like to mention how expediant Buy.com was. Great product and a great superstore.
