Everyone else will either be offended, bored, or both. San Francisco Chronicle 7 of 10 Lowbrow, politically incorrect and stupid with jut-jawed determination, just about every minute of Dumb and Dumber...is inspired, irreverent, spark-driven comedy that takes you places you never thought a movie would go--even a Jim Carrey movie... This wacky buddy road film...has a brilliant glow of intelligence behind the stupidness. It's easily the funniest movie of the year. - Peter Stack Time Magazine 6 of 10 The fact is that D and D - in comparison with which Jim Carrey's other pictures look as if they were scripted by Oscar Wilde - makes you laugh out loud for almost its entire running time. - Richard Schickel Chicago Sun-Times 7 of 10 ...there is a moment in Dumb and Dumber that made me laugh so loudly I embarrassed myself. 5 of 5 Very Funny Movie Monday, January 16, 2006 A movie fanatic from The Big Apple in New York
I have seen this movie on TV and I thought it was really funny. Buy.com offered a great price for it so I decided to buy it. Now that I own it it is even funnier now because I see and notice a lot more than I did on television. The acting was funny and the ending was hilarious. It was overall a great movie. 4 of 5 One of the new "classic" comedies. Saturday, October 30, 2004 A Viewer from Beaver Falls, PA
This is one of the funniest movies that I've ever seen. What's best, is that it isn't full of all of the vulgar humor that's been taking over the comedy genre these days. A bit of slapstick-style comedy here and there makes this one of the best comedies of last century. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 A truely awesome movie! Thursday, October 21, 2004 jant0r-g0dD from WA-Spokane
When i saw this movie i expected it to be two retards that dont do anything right but good things happen to them... i wasnt expecting much... BUT IT TOTALLY REDEEMED ITSELF!!! If youve seen it, youll get that. That is exactly what it was and it was absolutely hilarious. Could not have been even more funny, i almost choked because i was laughing too hard... i drank a lot of water after that... Dont bother renting it, just buy it, its probably like 10 bucks everywhere anyways. You wont be disappointed if you like random and slapstick type comedys. Was this review helpful?

5 of 5 Thicker than you think Tuesday, July 06, 1999 Peter Lewis from San Antonio, Tx
This is the funniest movie in the world in my opinion. I have probably watched it over 1000 times, and it still is the funniest. The plot of two losers returning a suitcase to a lady all the way across the country is just plain out funny. Director Peter Farrelly did an excellent job and the writters got the comedy a little deepeer than most realize. Take for the instance that if Loydd Christmas married Mary Swanson, her name would then be Mary Christmas. It a real deep movie. Well worth your time and money. Check it out. Was this review helpful?
