I have used this compact model for almost 2 years and it grills very well, I would suggest covering the v shaped heat plates with aluminum foil for easy clean up, also cover the infrared burner with heavy duty aluminum foil when not in use, as grease splatter in normal grilling can build up on its surface and it takes a long time to burn them off for proper operation.
