Simply select one or more photos on your hard disk drive and start the slideshow: The video captured by your webcam automatically switches to a picture in picture-style display, enabling you to share your emotions while remaining visible to your friend while he (or she) browses through your pictures. (You can move your webcam’s picture around the screen by drag-and-dropping it with your mouse, and enlarge or reduce its size using your mousewheel - or simply choose to hide from view it in order to show only your pictures.)

Awesome video and sound and even better stills. Very easy to use, face tracking works fine. It finds a point to focus on and the software adjusts to that point. Use of bundled software is very easy to understand. I'm VERY happy with the cam itself, however...
As to the installation-almost a nightmare.
It's flash based and no matter what options you chose to install, it installs all of it. It doesn't always work well with other voice based programs such as Ventrillo. As the other reviewer said, it downloads an update which really takes roughly 10 minutes even with a 10 Meg connection probably because of the flash installer. I went to the manufacturer's website to try to download the latest software (nothing available so far) and sent an email with my concerns and got a canned reply about uninstalling drivers so don't count on customer service for help. It's a nice webcam. Wasn't too hard to set up. Took a little while to load the software because it had to download any upgrades. It does well in low light and the focus is good. Only thing I'm not sure about is it said it had face tracking but I haven't figured that out yet. It's still a good buy though. Was this review helpful?
