    Owned a pair of the 43's before this which lasted many years in all kinds of weather including snow. I had them mounted on the outside wall of my shed. After great service, the woofers started going and I went and replaced them with the 53's. Great value like the others but the added value of more bass. Although I keep the bass low most times when playing outside, not to annoy the neighbors, it's nice to know it's there for the times you really want to enjoy a full rich sound from such a reasonably priced set of outdoor speakers. Big bang for the buck on this pair!
