Jason Scott Lee and Lauren Holly star in this unforgettable glimpse into the life, love and the unconquerable spirit of the legendary Bruce Lee.

From a childhood of rigorous martial arts training, Lee realizes his dream of opening his own kung-fu school in America. Before long, he is discovered by a Hollywood producer (Robert Wagner) and begins a meteoric rise to fame and an all too short reign as one of the most charismatic action heroes in motion picture history.

Hailed as "an immeasurably entertaining movie" by CBS-TV, Dragon is ablaze with comedy, touching romance, and spectacular martial arts sequences.

Editor's Note

The very entertaining true life story of the martial arts sensation whose meteoric rise to fame ended suddenly with his untimely, mysterious death.

Plot Summary

A biographical film of the adored movie star and martial arts idol, Bruce Lee.| The story follows Lee from his childhood in Hong Kong, where he began training in martial arts, to his arrival in the United States, where he tried to build an acting career despite the prevalent racism.| Upon his return to his homeland, he gradually became famous, thanks to a series of kung fu films. But despite his success, he never stopped battling a family "demon," who allegedly killed Bruce's brother and whose presence continually haunted Bruce.| In 1970, Lee died under mysterious circumstances.

5 of 5 A movie to watch over and over again Friday, November 26, 1999
A Viewer from Jacksonville, Florida

A dramatic version of Bruce Lee's life with an excellent performance of acting and martial arts technique by Jason Scott Lee. I wish it was longer. Bruce Lee will live on in this movie. He paved the way for martial arts in the movies and for Oriental actors in Hollywood! Watch also: 'Enter the Dragon'.

Jason Scott Lee is possibly one of the greatest actors to EVER walk the face of the planet. I just wish that more people would notice him. And as a fan and studier of martial arts, this movie has a permanent spot in my video/DVD library. It was a very good movie with WONDERFUL music that you will in fact here in many movies to come.
