This box set presents the first season of the new Doctor Who very well. What's not to like: All spisodes presented in wide screen, lots of extras including Doctor Who Confidential on a separate disk, and nice packaging. As far as the individual stories go, some are better than others. For me, the best story was Dalek which I thought was the best presentation of a Dalek ever. Christopher Eccleston was a pretty good Doctor, and it is too bad his legacy in the show will be limited to this one season. An important part of the magic of Dr. Who is the longivity and continuity of the series. The new series honors the show's past, even as it is updated for today's ADD-afflicted audiences. If you are a fan, you want this set.
