This exciting camera lets you direct and record, capture digital video and audio at or away from your computer, edit your footage with special effects and images from your favorite Princess movies and share your movies with your friends by screening them on your computer or sending them in e-mails. You can take hundreds of snapshots like a digital camera and even create stop-motion animated movies.

Captures six minutes of video and audio. Features 32MB internal memory. Package contents include: Disney Princess Movie Maker with Built-in Microphone, Disney Flix Movie Editing Software CD-ROM, Video Camera Base and USB cable for file download, Wrist Strap and User Guide. Measures approximately 9"H. Requires four "AAA" batteries, not included.

Computer Requirements: Windows ME, 2000 and XP: 300 MHz or faster processor, 64 MB RAM, 300 MB free hard disk space, SVGA 800 x 600 resolution video support (minimum 16-bit color), USB interface/port enabled, 4x CD-ROM.

4 of 5 Moviemaker is fine for 8 year and younger Tuesday, December 30, 2008

I ordered the moviemaker for my 8 year old daughter and she likes it. It is a fairly primitive video camera by todays standards. I only paid $25 for it, so that is OK. If I had paid $79 (full price), I would want my money back. It only records for 4 minutes and that is at a very low quality. The toy did function right out of the box and was easy to set up and easy to use. So far it has worked with WinXP fine. We have enjoyed the Stop-Action function and the kids have made several small "movies". It functions fine as a low-quality digital camera.

This was a Christmas gift for our 4 year old granddaughter. She has already used it for hours with a big smile on her face. She enjoys the ability to take snap-shots as well as videos. She is already using it on her friends as well as family and carries it with her all the time. EXTREMELY great gift! Thanks.
