The original soundtrack to Digimon: The Movie collects original songs about the pretenders to the Pokemon throne -- such as "Digirap" and "Hey Digimon" -- as well as a surprisingly hip mix of modern rock songs, including the Mighty Mighty Bosstones' "The Impression That I Get," Fatboy Slim's ever-present "The Rockafeller Skank," and Smashmouth's equally ubiquitous "Allstar." Len's version of "Kids in America," the Barenaked Ladies' "One Week," and Less Than Jake's "All My Best Friends Are Metalheads" are some of the other highlights from this collection of sugar-buzzed ska-punk-pop. Though the Pokemon may be cuter, it seems that Digimon have better taste in music. ~ Heather Phares
