Puts out a lot of heat, my remote kinda sucks, not a fan of the display or manual buttons either. Has great safety features and is compact. I really like the oscillation, it heats the entire room. This is a great bargain on a great heater. I still prefer my Vornado but this heater is an excellent alternative. Was this review helpful?

1. Doesn't show the current temperature, only the desired temperature setting. Why not? Don't know. There is an LED screen and an onboard thermometer. Why not display it?
2. Doesn't automatically revert to the prior setting when you turn the system. However, if you set the timer on before turning it on, then it does happen to remember the prior setting when the timer runs out. So, the prior setting is available, but not used unless the timer is turned on. Why not use the prior setting automatically whenever it is turned on. This is especially problem when the system is knocked over. The safety feature (which I like) shuts the system down. When you turn it back on it doesn't remember the prior setting.
