4 of 5 if you like the Four Seasons, you will love this Wednesday, October 11, 2006 Gary from baltimore, maryland
Let's face it, the Four Seasons are not to everyone's taste. Some people don't like Frankie Valli's falsetto, some people don't like the 4 part harmonizations, and some people just don't like the tunes and have never liked them since the British Invasion started to dominate U.S. rock/pop music shortly after the Beatles played on The Ed Sullivan Show. And even a fan like myself cannot play the two CDs straight through because it is like eating 20 desserts in a row. But, if you are not in the negative camp, then these tunes will seem like the apogee of the 2 and 1/2 minute AM radio singles era. In short, they really are miniature pop symponies. BTW, the remastering is excellent as is the stereo sound separation, so you can clearly hear the hand-clapping, keyboards, tambourine, as well the vocals. Was this review helpful?
