The saga continues in this thought-provoking third season. Set in Capeside, a small coastal town near Boston, Dawson's Creek tells the story of five teenagers struggling through adolesence. Dawson Leary (James Van Der Beek) and introspective dreamer, and Joey Potter (Katie Holmes) a precocious tomboy unaware of her beauty, have been best friends since childhood. Pals Jennifer (Michelle Williams), Pacey (Joshua Jackson), and Jack (Kerr Smith) join them as they live, love and learn.

The teenage trials and tribulations continue in the small, scenic coastal town of Capeside, Massachusetts, in the third season (23 episodes) of the successful television drama. Affluent, 15 year-old Dawson Leary (James Van Der Beek), idolizes Steven Spielberg and wants to be a film maker. He has been friends with Joey (Katey Holmes)--who lives across the pond with her pregnant sister--since they were both five, but their friendship is changing now that their hormones are kicking in. Jen (Michelle Williams), meanwhile, continues to cause drive a wedge between them. Joey's growing closeness to Pacey (Joshua Jackson) does not help matters, either.
