I am an experienced SLR user from years ago, prior to digital cameras and I found this book wonderful. It is written for all levels of users. The Nikon manual is really poor and this book is excellent. I found something very important on the use of the camera that changed everything by the time I had real 18 pages and there are 300 in the book. This book is exactly what people need to get much more than "good" shots. You can get the exceptional shots that this camera is capable of when you learn how to do more than let the camera make all the decisions for you, but you stretch the camera's ability.
