James "Bud" Bottoms has written and illustrated several books for children that put forth positive values about the environment and ethical behavior in general. His most recent book -- "Davey and the GOM (Giant Oil Monster)" -- focuses on the damage done by the oil industry on our precious coasts and wildlife. Bud's wonderful illustrations will hopefully encourage children and their families everywhere to help clean up our environment before it is too late.
