I purchased the kit because all of the 4 phone in my family was supported by the kit (LG, Motorola, and Samsung). I had about 400 numbers of friends, clients, and co-workers on my phone. When I lost my phone, it was easy to transfer the numbers back to my new phone.
My two kids use the ringtone editor and image editor all of the time. It now saves us money (about a buck each) from not having to download the ringtones using the over the air services.

I recently purchased DataPilot through Buy.com and I absolutely love it. I'm not techie and I actually got this product up and working. I recently lost my cell phone and had over 130 contacts which were completely lost as I did not have back up. Needless to say it took me hours to add my contacts to my new phone. Hopefully, I don't lose my phone again, but if I do, I certainly will not have to go through the agony wasting precious time.
