The Product Works well, The transfer speeds is slower than other drive that I have, but for such a Low Price its a good deal.

This little USB drive has performed well. I currently have about 6.5 GB loaded on it and the response has been good. My only complaint is that the description says it has "Data protection via password" and that is not true. Only the Dane "Jelly" has that feature.

The unit is ok in speed, and does what I needed it for. Can't beat the price and you get what you pay for. My only real complaint was with the flimsy key ring that snapped the first time I pulled this out of my pocket. Oh well...

Sure it's not the best in quality...not the fastest drive out there, flimsy cover cap, but it gets the job done for me.

I have had the product for about 2 weeks and I love it. What a great uy from buy.com. I absolutely reccomend this product to anyone. When I have a chance I will order many more.

I got this drive looking at the average review on this site. But I am disappointed. There are few things that needs to be improved in this drive - 1. The design is thick than a normal laptop thickness and hence cannot be used if the usb port is vertical. If used either the laptop usb port would go bad over the time or the usb drive. 2. The transfer rate is not so good. Feels slow. 3. When i copied around 2 gb of data and then unpluged the drive, the pin got warm. Never felt that happening with any other drive. Hope this review would help other buyers.

I have been using this drive for about a week now. Highly satisfied with the performance so far. Read/write is pretty fast. I bought this when the price was $13.99 (free shipping). Really worth it. Experience with buy.com is good. Product was shipped/delivered well on time.

I am quite happy with the drive for the most part. However, the paint on the outside has already started to scrape off after owning it for a matter of weeks.

There is no password protection on this device as advertised and buy.com's ric*ckulous return policy makes a return not worth it. Customer service is lacking and getting worse. I'd look for a different drive from a different seller.

I received this item a couple of weeks ago, but haven't used it until today, and man was I impressed, It is a very fast drive, I've owned otther flash drives before,after using this one I will never go back to them again, this one is a keeper. For the price I paid for it, I will never go back.

Wow, this little dude is fantastic! So many of todays products are labeled "High Speed" when in fact they're not, this product lives up to that claim. I'm 110% happy with this purchase and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it!

The USB drive has a nice look and feel with a rubbery-ish coating. It has been compatible with everything I've plugged it in(PC and Mac), including my Apple TV to install Boxee.

I am always taking files from work to home and vice/versa. This drive has worked perfectly for me from day one. I use it to transfer large graphic design files and find it to be FASTER than any other drives I've used. The price was BETTER than what I had seen in stores and standard delivery was even FASTER than what Buy.com estimated (4 days). It has been a win/win/win for me and I would recommend it to fellow designers.

There's two different type of these,one that ships from Philadelphia warehouse and has a blue L.E.D(most are from this kind)it doesn't support 480mbps,it's not too slow,it's just like Kingston or any other flash drive,the other one ships from California warehouse and has a amber L.E.D,it's superb!it supports 480mbps and I haven't seen that fast flash drive! But be aware if you buy that for Data protection via password,it's for another flash drive from same brand calls (jelly),this one doesn't have that feature. finally,I don't think any body like to waste hard earned money for Chinese crap!This one is made right here in CA.

I bought a few of these to keep at home and at work to transfer large CAD files - Outside of the fact that they smell kinda funny(yes, they STINK like a skunk, but that goes away in a few days)These are very durable, fast and just the right size for pockets - and the price is right! Love it!

Great product for under 15 bucks, fast and small. My only complain is the ring for the key chain is very weak, it broke on the first day, the same thing happened to the one I got for my girlfriend, I had to improvise with a paper clip.

I brought this specifically since I needed to carry files and backup some data. For the price, it is a good value. However, it is a little bit quirky when it comes to readyboost if you have Vista. When I first plugged it in and tried the readyboost option on Vista, it claimed it didn't test to be readyboost then I tried again and it worked. There is no lanyard but the cap seems to be secure. To me, the fact that the cap has to be removed doesn't bother me.

I couldn't imagine that such a little one can hold 8GB's of data, because I had a computer with 8GB of hard disk years back :-). This one did not disappoint me, as my first need of this was to fill 8GB of my pictures, because I had 12GB of pictures to carry. It did not disappoint me. A very good deal with the mail in rebate and the amount of storage. Thanks for buy.com, as always only happiness in buying from buy.com

good deal for what i consider a sizeable amount of storage on the go. i'm not entirely sure it is a usb 2.0, it runs a little slower than my older 1gig but on the whole, it is not a problem. i hardly every move data in bulk on or off the drive so for everyday use it works just fine for me.

Like the title says, this item does what it is supposed to, but it appears to be cheaply made. The metal piece that connects to the computers USB port wiggles a lot and seems like it will break off. I find myself being extra careful with this USB thumb drive. Keychain hook seems to be weak as well. For the money and size, not a bad buy.

I've owned several Dane Electric storage devices, none this large! It worked smoothly and I can't see ever maxing the capacity with documents and pics. Very handy for work.

Works well and is very small. No annoying extra software on the drive. The transfer speeds seem slower than my other drives, though. Great drive for the super low price.

It works well with Windows XP and Vista, not super fast but reasonably fast for the price. The body is a little too fat and can not fit side by side to another USB connector on my notebooks, so have to take one out or use extension USB cord. Good looking and has smooth rubber like finish but a couple scratches appeared in one day when use as key chain.

I had difficulty with the device at first. I looked up the problem on the internet and had to change something in the properties and now it appears to be working fine. I have an older computer maybe that was the problem.

I love this flash drive, but they do not have security, so don't lose it. I have purchased about 10 flash drives in the last 2 years for various friends and coworkers and this is one of the best. Definitely a great bang for your buck

I purchased two of these Dane-Elec 8GB zMate Pen Drives and overall, I am very pleased with them. They perform very well but did not have the lanyard included for ease of transportation. The unit is wider than the average flash drive so if USB connector space is critical, this is not the drive for you. With a multiple port hub space is not a problem. Good drive and the price was right.

I have used this drive for about three weeks. It is recognized right away on Vista, XPpro and XPhome. Data writes extremely fast. It does have an accessible hook for a lanyard--very important because I tend to lose loose flash drives. Thank you

This is a good storage product, and although the label says it is Windows Vista compatible, it should be noted that the drive is NOT capable of supporting ReadyBoost - which is the main reason I bought it. Vista says it is too slow - I had researched this model online and it said it should work, but it did not actually work. I tested it with Vista Home Premium on a Dell 530 with 2 GB RAM. Summary: For good cheap storage this drive is OK. Only negative thing I can think of in that respect is there is nowhere to put the cap when you're not using it (such as with Kingston, where the cap fits on the back end of many of them) but that's not a big issue.
