5 of 5 Very Good product/price - Check SDHC compatibitlit Sunday, July 20, 2008 astral6006@gmail.com from washington, DC
The 8 Gig SDHC card is a very good product at an exceptional value from Buy.com.
The only problem that I had was that it didn't work with some older models digital camerars. This is not the 8 gig SDHC cards fault but the short sitghted camera manufactures. Or perhaps the difference between SDHC and SD.
The 8 gig SDHC card worked very well in my much older Vivtar DVR 550 but it did not work in the Cannon PowerShot SD450. Oh, it also did not work in my camcorder, a Panasonic pv-GS250.
Now, I hav not check with the manufacture of the digital device that the card did not work in but I guess I really should. There may be a firmware upgrade that will unlock the device to work with the larger 8 gig SDHC card. By the way the 1 and 2 gig SD card worked well in the aformentioned digital device.
So check with the manufacture of your digital device and make sure that the SDHC 8 Gig card works with your particular digital devide. If it does not check to see if their is a firmware upgrade that can be performed. If it does not work with your device then buy.com will provide you with a refund - I'm think.. I'm sure!!!!
Happy trails!!

4 of 5 Hard to Use Thursday, June 19, 2008 A Customer from Kansas City, MO
This card was a great value for the amount of memory. I purchased it for use in a camcorder that only uses sd cards for recording, pics, etc. However, the card would not work in the product and it also couldn't be read by my laptop's card reader. I could only get it to work after placing it in an adapter and using the USB port. I found that it worked great in my digital camera and have used it there since. Overall though it is a great value for an sd card with a lot of memory. Just make sure it can be used in your product. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Good Value for Canon G9 Camera Monday, June 16, 2008 A Customer from Boxford, MA
I installed the card in my new Canon G9 camera and it works fine. Assuming the rebate arrives this was a great deal. Buy.com shipping was fast as always. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Works well Sunday, June 15, 2008 buy_com@bizcad.com from Irvine, CA
It is a memory card. I bought it for my new camera and it saves the pictures. I have not filled it up, so I do not know if there are any bad addresses.
I do not worry about a reader because it looks like a drive on my computer. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Fast, Good Price Sunday, June 15, 2008 GeraldT from Midway, NC
FOR THE SDHC ENABLED ONLY! Incredible price, especially after the rebate, from Buy.com. Better yet, the card is very fast in my digicam - no trace of hesitation while filming a high def video. And of course static pictures are recorded with virtually no wait. Don't know how this brand will stand up over time, but for now I'm very happy. Was this review helpful?

5 of 5 Nice pricepoint! Check SDHC compatibitlity Tuesday, June 10, 2008 Maz from Alameda, CA
I have had the card for about two weeks. The price point is very attractive. I use it in a FZ-18. I am pleased with the performance of this card in the burst mode of 3 fps.
Have not yet tried it in a DSLR so I cannot comment on it's writing performance in raw or extended jpeg burst modes.
A key point for prospective buyers is to make sure your camera/ electronic device is compatible with the SDHC format, else they are of no use. Was this review helpful?

5 of 5 Works great Monday, June 09, 2008 A Customer from Los Angeles CA
I bought this card specifically to add drive space to an Asus Eee PC. It works great! It's not nearly as slow as other SD cards I've used. Also, it arrived with a tiny case which I could see using if I ever need to take it with me without the laptop. Was this review helpful?

Being that I'm fairly new to the digital camera world, I had purchases two 4G SD HC cards for my trip to Uganda. Well, when I got to Uganda and put the cards into my camera, it would not format. Finally, I found a camera store and was told that my camera was not compatible with SD HC cards, just SD. I lost a lot of beautiful memories because that's all I had. Please make sure you know what you're buying before getting rid of a receipt. Lesson learned. Still love buy.com though. Was this review helpful?
