Professional Reviews
GamePro 8 of 10
Konami's limited U.S. release of Dance Dance Revolution backfired, leaving many fans desperate to get their paws on the funky, fun title. Disney Mix gives gamers another chance to snap it up, this time with a kid-friendly flair...This new incarnation updates your grade while you dance, so you aren't surprised by your accuracy rating at the end. It also adds Dance Magic, a combat mode for two players; when you do well, attacks are automatically thrown at your opponent that speed up or slow down their arrows. This addition should make competitive dancers happy, but will frustrate players who are just in it for the fun.

3 of 5 Plays mostly like you'd expect Wednesday, January 16, 2008
A Gamer from Warrenville, IL

I wasn't expecting a whole lot from this plug-and-play game--I was buying it for a 4 and 6 year old who don't really know the real game. Yes, the graphics are bad...yes, the music is bad...and yes, there are only 9 songs...,but for a $20 plug-and-play game, I can't complain. You get what you pay for. That said, there are three things you MUST know: 1) It is just a one-player game with one mat 2) It takes 4 AA batteries, and there is NO OPTION for an AC adapter! BATTERIES MUST BE USED!!! 3) There are no female characters in the game. The songs have Mickey Mouse, Donald, Goofy, or Chip and Dale as the DJ's. My daughter was looking for Minnie or Daisy and she was dissappointed. Overall, I'm still satisfied with the game. Even within the 9 songs, there are options for increased difficulty. Those who say it is too easy must not have ever tried "maniac mode" in the song "Supercalifradulisticexpialodocious," or however you spell that long word. There is still enough to the game to keep a 4 and 6 year old happy for a short period of time. Kids tire of all games within a week anyway...
