Basic Security Protection: The Wireless G Router includes a built-in firewall that safeguards your network from harmful attacks. I connected this router last evening and it was great. The throughput was great. Today I noticed things did not seem to be working as well. The router has started resetting every 30 seconds to a minute. That sort of hampers the usefulness of the product.

This D-Link is my 3nd experience with their products. This one was for my business location. I replaced the wired D-Link router that I had with this wireless one. Set up was relatively easy! Everything has been working great. All this and more for only $22. Another great Buy.com deal!

I was hesitant about installing this at first because the website said IE 6 was the minimun requirement but the box said it was IE 7. I planned on running it off of my old desktop and could not download IE 7 on it so I went ahead with the installation anyway. This being my first installation, I used the included cd and was up and running in about 10 minutes. I did have to restart both the pc and notebook before they worked seamlessly. I also made sure to change my security protection to "wireless network" too. I am currently getting 54 mbs from 15 feet away and no dropped connections so far. For the price, this can't be beat.

This is my second D-Link router and as always D-Link provides the best products. I used this to set up a small server in my dorm room for my 3 laptops and Ipod touch and runs great. Also is one of the only wireless routers that actually work with the internet on campus. Would DEFINITELY buy again!!!

the only complaint is that it drops connection sometimes, (but I experienced this problem with any other router that I bought before, Netgear, DLink, etc.) but disable/enable the "wireless connection" solves the problem rather quickly so I don't see it as a big deal. didn't need the CD wizard for setup. I have been using the product for 3 weeks and so far I like it. and you can't beat this price.

We bought this one when our last router died. When we received the router we had it set up in just a few minutes and were back up and running in no time and it is running great. The software that comes with it is usless though. I have already deleted it.

I've had this unit about a month now and it works pretty well. It came on time and in a new box. The set up was extremely easy. I would recommend this product to any one that is not computer guru and wants wireless connection in the house, with protection. Bought this and a Dlink usb adapter from this site thru Google checkout, very straight forward, product setup took me a little longer than proably most folks, being some what of a novice , but when it came up, it ran as advertised. Also using the networkmagic software that came with it,makes a difference to me. I have used Buy.com for several products and will continue to in the future, including Dlink products.

I would recommend this product. It is very easy to install and configure. I installed it as a second wireless router in my home network. As such, I had to preconfigure it to disable the DHCP server and assign it a fixed IP address. I also had to configure the wireless access point. All of this was well explained in the documentation and was done in less than 5 minutes. I had tried to do this with another vendor's router and was never able to complete the tasks using their "wizard". I'm very happy with the product.

This was my 1st experience with setting up and using a wireless network & router and the install CD provided great instructions. There were a few issues when adding the laptop I had just purchsed but eventually it got added as well as my wife's iPod touch. Have only had to reset 2-3 times but I'm still learning and for the money ($0 after full price rebate from bundled purchase) it was a no brainer.

Rec'd router quickly. CD Wizard included did not open on my Mac. Never did get a response to my question "Is a Mac compatible CD available", however was able to set up using the D-Link website.

Installed it for my brother-in-law. Installation was very easy -- didn't even need to use the wizard. Seems to work OK both for his wired desktop and his wireless laptop.

I ignored the other bad reviews becuse I thought I could make it work. Actually setup was easy and at first I thought things were good. My wireless connect starts at 54mb but within 10 minutes drops down to 1mb - this is not acceptible. I'm trying to get a replacement unit from Dlink, not getting very far.
