5 of 5 Works as advertised Monday, September 24, 2007 A Customer from KC MO
If you do some more research the actual speeds are 10/20/100/200Mbps. Pretty cool. I had an old 12 port hub mounted directly to my basement concrete wall. Just unscrewed the 2 screws and put the optional D-Link bracket on and was mounted, powered and working in less than 3 minutes. I only gave performance a 4 since it is not 1000Mbps/Giga-bit capable, but still a burst of up to 200Mbps is noticbly better. I'm thinking of wiring some other PC's straight to this in stead of using another switch in the house, for better speeds. Also like the amount of memory for MACs and store and forward. Plus auto sense for crossover is nice. Time will tell if this unit will last, other say it lasts a few years and then mysteriously dies, but we will see. Was this review helpful?

Finally took the leap and wired my house for high speed ethernet as I was piping digital video around the house via my ReplayTV's and 802.11g wasn't cutting it. Out of the box and plugged right in and it was working as expected. No headaches nor problems. I have a my Linksys-Vongage box as the DHCP server connected to this box and I am off to the races.
