I’m very pleased with this D-Link DSL-2320B Modem product. Very fast downloads and easy setup. The wizard was good right out of the box. It works great for me in Melbourne, FL with AT&T DSL. Buy.com free shipping was great, modem was delivered ahead of schedule. The only drawbacks were the modems documentation was a little weak but you can get better documentation at D-Link support and Buy.com packaging was insufficient. The online reviews and support help was fantastic, great job to the online community. Highly recommend this product. Was this review helpful?
1 of 5 NOT A CHANCE Thursday, August 21, 2008 A Customer from Rosholt WI
And I'm the owner of two D-Link NICs and a D-Link wireless router which I love.
Even my PHONE COMPANY can't make THEM work......yes.......I had the first one replaced.
It won't work through the router and won't work through the onboard hard wired network connection either.
$60 down the drain.......
Sorry D-Link but you BLEW it on these. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Set up is very easy Monday, April 28, 2008 A Customer from San Bernardino, CA
This DSL modem is the easiest I have ever had to set up. I installed the equipment, did the setup via the IP address & it was completed in less then 10 minutes. Was this review helpful?

All of the reviews that I read stated that this was a very nice and easy to use DSL modem. My experience was quite the opposite connecting this modem with the BellSouth DSL network. After several frustrating hours playing ping-pong between D-Link and BellSouth (me being the ball, of course), I was unable to establish connectivity. The WAN settings I used were: VPI/VCI = 8/35, Category UBR (which BS would not confirm), and PPPoE protocol. All of the appropriate lights on the modem were green (power, DSL, LAN, and Internet), but no connectivity was achieved. My computer OS is Windows Vista Ultimate 64-Bit, but I do not know if this contributed to the problem or not. No router was involved, just a phone line to the DSL modem and an ethernet cable between the modem and the laptop. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Plug n Play is what it does! Friday, December 14, 2007 balorg from Lafayette, CO
This was a replacement for my aging CISCO DSL unit. I was concerned about the addressing problems I had with the CISCO and the phone company. The documentation is very explicit and detailed so had it connected in a few minutes! So didn't need "Geek Squad". You connect to it via IE browser. I chose the "Wizard" button to let the firmware do it's thing. It took about 10 minutes for it to "sync" so be patient. So was up and surfing!
I checked with my bell system for a replacement and they wanted $150.00 for some ugly box. Dlink did well with this design and looks great with my other stuff. A+++ Was this review helpful?
