Value  5 Performance  5 Ease of Use  5 Overall Satisfaction  5 Write a Review   3 of 3 customers found this review helpful.   5 of 5 DLink DIR-855 Outstanding 9/25/2008 Bob from Upstate NY   Replaced my DIR-655 (which was rock solid) with the DIR-855, to move N into the A band... due to 12 wireless routers in my neighborhood, and no spectrum management from the owners. Moving from 2.4 made all the difference, finally ending dropped wireless connections due strictly to congestion. This router has been flawless - does everything I need it to do, and b/g is still there for my wireless print server, and people that drop in. 802.11b/g is now my utility band, and the A radio handles the N traffic of three laptops. Throughput is running at 77 Mbps at the router. Firmware is 1.11. The OLED display is not really significant to me, because it is in a location where no one can see it. It is just a great (OK, expensive) router. The 1000Base-T wired ports, range, throughput and extensive settings make this worth every penny.
