Hardcore: gamer, torrent user, and web user. Was able to configure the router so there's no lag in game with totrents. Blazing fast with the right config. Great experience with this router not only serving 2 websites, but also a corporate email webmail host. Both in professional settings. Very easy to install and the gigabit switch speeds up local network transfers. Firewall is very comprehensive to keep the Baddies out. Highly recommend this product. Was this review helpful?

I have a Sony Vaio Laptop with Vista Business, but my wife has an HP still running on Windows XP. From the first day I connected my Vaio to my home Linksys network, it continually crashed the network (at least once a day I'd had to reset the network). It even crashed a WiFi spot in Grand Caymen also running with a Linksys WRT-54G. Then I bought the D-Link DGL-4100. It connected right away and two months later I have yet to reset the network once. I'm now a D-Link convert. Was this review helpful?

Finally a router with enough power and features to do the job, and at a reasonable price. It works great and finally solves problems I've had maintaining connections and working with sites my old routers (Buffalo and DI-624) didn't handle properly. It's difficult to find a top-notch wired-only router these days with everybody going wireless, but this is it. Maybe not for long, though - it's already two years old, so if you need wired only, get it while you can. Other benefits of buying this one vs. the cheaper routers are much better firmware and more detailed help (thank you!). Buy.com delivered in a flash, as usual. Was this review helpful?

Started having very puzzling home network problems with an older Netgear RP-614 router. Could get out the internet on Firefox but not IE7. Could not communicate internally with my D-link DNS-323 NAS box. After much troubleshooting and hair-pulling, replaced the router with the D-link DGL-4100. All problems cleared right up.
