5 of 5 Couldn't be better Wednesday, June 17, 2009 Bill from Lansdale, PA
Great product. Well made. Works flawlessly. Not even a criticism but may be improved with holes to allow wall mounting.
Very happy with the purchase and Buy's exceptional speed in processing the order. Was this review helpful?
1 of 1 customers found this review helpful. 5 of 5 Excellent Product Tuesday, May 19, 2009 Rick from Raleigh, NC
I have two of these hubs and both worked as advertised out of the box. I haven't had any trouble with either. If you need more USB connections you can't go wrong with it. It's often offered with rebates, so it is really a great value. Was this review helpful?

I have both powered and unpowered USB devices plugged into the hub including a mouse, two printers, an external 2.5" USB powered hard drive and various ipod's and camera's. All work well. No problems so far.
Still waiting on the rebate. Was this review helpful?

5 of 5 Very Satisfied Monday, April 20, 2009 MarkyMark from SF, CA
Basically it does exactly what it was meant to do. Dreamed about a reliable usb hub and that's what it delivered. Love the layout of vertically oriented 7 USB slots like this *|||||||*, saves space and is A/C adapter powered. All peripherals run great and have no issues.
Keep in mind that there is a little sheet inside the box that says "there may be a possibility that if you connect a USB 1.1 device to the hub that all devices will then default to 1.1 speed"
Cheers, i love it. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Easy Sunday, April 19, 2009 Steve from Endicott, NY
Wow really easy to set up, just plug it in using Win XP Pro. Runs printers, Flash drive, and connects to a Camera without even plugging in the power. Says power is to be used for devices that also have external power like hard drives.
Really like it! Was this review helpful?

5 of 5 D-Link DUB-H7 Hub Monday, April 13, 2009 Al from New York, NY
Works well with the USB Shareport on the DIR-655. All USB attachments are accessible over the wireless network-external hardrive, printer, iPhone, etc. The hub also charges my portable USB devices(it's self-powered). The rebate makes it a no brainer. Was this review helpful?

This is my second D-Link hub of this type. Simple, straightforward, no kitch, no nonsense. Works as it should. Reasonable price. Was this review helpful?
1 of 1 customers found this review helpful. 5 of 5 Amazing! Saturday, March 28, 2009 A Customer from Dallas, TX
Every usb device I plug into this thing works great. Some people say there are certain devices that you really have to work and push to make them fit, but I appreciate that, it makes me be sure that nothing will come unplugged that's not supposed to (and it's never really that hard to push a usb plug into it, just a little tougher than normal). Works perfectly with new iMac and old dell laptop. All around great hub, best I've ever used or seen. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Works as advertised Wednesday, March 18, 2009 A Customer from Pittsburgh, PA
I bought this to allow an old laptop to be used as a simple file server. The hub allows multiple USB2 hard drives to share a single USB 2.0 port. (I have run into older USB2 hubs that had problems with sharing multiple hard drives (large data transfers would become unreliable.) This hub has allowed me to move hundreds of gigabytes of data between USB drives on the hub with no issues. Was this review helpful?
4 of 5 One slight problem! Sunday, March 15, 2009 coathook from Cape Cod, MA
I bought this Hub to provide me with USB 2.0 capability after upgrading my G4 to a Mac Pro. Interestingly, all my previous USB 1.0 connecting cables "connected" easily and flawlessly to the new D-Link hub; however, the one additional new item I procured was a Kingston 8Gb Flash Drive, whose USB 2.0 connector fit easily into all of my Mac Pro USB ports, but only with great difficulty into any of my new D-Link Hub ports. I was ultimately able to connect to the hub, but it was both difficult and time-consuming. even so, it worked perfectly once installed. Was this review helpful?
1 of 1 customers found this review helpful. 3 of 5 Doesn't totally get the job done Friday, March 13, 2009 A Customer from Vermont
The hube will handle most plug ins but when I attach my printer the computer will not recognize it. I plug everything into the hub but I have to plug my printer directly into my laptop. The D-Link help online is no use whatsoever. Nonetheless it gets most of the jobe done. Was this review helpful?
4 of 5 It's Good! Thursday, March 12, 2009 A Customer from New York, NY
It works. Has an external power source which is what I wanted, and it works. Wasn't the greatest price, but I needed it... And because of the power supply it's somewhat more bulky than my Targus - cheapie - USB hub, but it's okay. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Great HUB Wednesday, March 11, 2009 A Customer from New Smyrna Beach, FL
Set-up quick. Powers off of either the computer or it's own PS. I went for it's own PS. I too have bought cheaper brands, why DID I waste my time and money on those?
The only thing that it weird is all the port lights are always on even if something is not plugged in. Again it appears to show that the ports are "good". I would rather have it go though a self test, all the lights flash green if good than go off. Then they only come back on again when something is plugged in. But for $15 I can live with it. 5 of 5 D-Link DUB-H7 Delivers Monday, March 09, 2009 Tracy from Texas
I was concerned that it would not handle my external drive at high speed. To my pleasant surprise, I am able to even watch movies from my external HD with no problem. Everything I've plugged into it has worked at peak performance. It is extremely easy to hook up and begin using. Just plug it in and go!
I'm sorry I ever wasted money on cheaper knock offs. Was this review helpful?
4 of 5 Includes useful USB cable also ! Saturday, March 07, 2009 Eeee from Westchester, NY
This is a very useful and efficient product to add 7 easily reached USB ports to any PC.
Although the packaging and the DLink web site do not mention it, the package includes a USB cable of approx 6 feet. This plugs into a USB port on the PC and to the back of this hub. The supplied USB cable can also be used a a USB printer cable if you need one in a situation.
So in net terms, one existing PC USB port is used for the cable but 6 additional ports are added for use.
Also included is a power supply that provides hub power for those USB devices that need powered hubs.

5 of 5 D-Link USB 2.0 H7 Wednesday, March 04, 2009 A Customer from Southeast, MI
Installation is just plugging it in. Lights are on all the time, as described, but they are not overwhelming. The power adapter outlet plug is not your standard shape. The pronges come out of the wrong side, in my opinion. It is design to plug into a straight power strip, and I don't have one. So that is a little inconvienient. I haven't noticed any performance issues, but this is my first hub so I don't have anything to compare it to. Definitely worth $15 vs. $50. Was this review helpful?
4 of 5 Good device but no support Wednesday, March 04, 2009 Don from Sierra Vista
This hub works well with the possible exception that the USB's are indeed very tightly inserted. You really have to force them in and this might cause a problem later with breakage. I have tried to call their support line about their Power Supply that comes with it. My numerous calls keep me going in circles with their voice mail. This voice mail is also hard to hear because it is broken up. I have sent three emails to them as well and never get a reply. I wanted to know what function the power supply is because the hub works well without it. I also have power supplies for some things I attach to it, such as my external hard drive. I am overloading my surge protector with too many power supplies. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Works well Wednesday, March 04, 2009 A Customer from Northern Lower Michigan
Replaced an old overloaded 4-port. Great Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Works Fine! Tuesday, March 03, 2009 A Customer from Indiana

5 of 5 Great Product!!! Tuesday, March 03, 2009 G.A. from South Portland, ME
It's small, easy to install, has plenty of ports, works perfectly and all for a very good price. What's not to love! It is a must buy! Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Excellent product Tuesday, March 03, 2009 A Customer from Boulder, CO
Easy to install. Worked instantly. Saving me a lot of time. With all the USB drives I have, I can leave the drives hooked up and turn them on as I need them. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Flawless Operation Tuesday, March 03, 2009 A Customer from Garden Grove, CA
The DLink USB 7-port hub works flawlessly. It was able to power two USB portable hard drives simultaneously without any problem. It has not given me any error messages like another 7-port hub that I purchased. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Nice USB 2.0 hub Tuesday, March 03, 2009 Vva10967 from Princeton Junction, NJ
Works well, no issues, and is compact too. Happy with the product. Good price with the rebate. I got 2 of these.

5 of 5 D-Link USB 2.0 H7 Tuesday, March 03, 2009 Ken from Grand Rapids, MI
This USB hub is a 'powered' hub, meaning it comes with a transformer and must be plugged in. I'm very happy with it and it meets all my expectations. I was using an unpowered hub and was constantly getting messages that I wasn't getting 2.0 data thru-put. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Nice unite Tuesday, March 03, 2009 Jim from Tampa, FL
Well made and more importantly the ports are logically placed with the input and power on one side and the outputs on the other rather than sll over the place. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Unbelievable Product Monday, March 02, 2009 Bill from Baltimore, MD
I'm using the DUB-H7 to connect 5 external hard drives, a printer and an external DVD burner to my computer, with excellent results. Its so light (weighs nearly nothing) that I'd like to Velcro it to my desk to hold it in place, otherwise its perfect. I had no difficulty installing it or getting it to work properly. Strongly recommend it if a 4-port is not enough for you. I'm ready to buy another one. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 A great deal with the rebate Monday, March 02, 2009 Michael from Northern CA
Compact and versatile. Bought two and each has worked well Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Great Product, Great Price! Monday, March 02, 2009 Karen C. from Elizabeth, NJ
D-Link lives up to its reputation for great quality, ease of set-up, reliable performance and the price couldn't be better!! Rather than just the four USB slots that others offer, the seven slots allow me to plug in my cameras, printers, scanners and basically whatever I need without removing something else.
Thanks for best deal. Was this review helpful?
4 of 5 Solid performer Monday, March 02, 2009 Fernando from Houston, TX
The D-Link 7-Port USB 2.0 Hub (DUB-H7) is well made and compact, designed for desktop use. Its seven ports are all aligned in one side. Hub comes with power adapter, for higher consumption devices, but it'll work without external power.
Excellent buy when purchased with rebate.
Improvements:
I'd add a stand to keep it vertical.
Port LEDs are always on, they should lit when a device is connected only. Was this review helpful?

5 of 5 Just Works! Tuesday, February 24, 2009 EL from Brooklyn, New York
Although it's not much to look at, this thing just works. My previous one was a Belkin & it kept having power issue & had to keep un-plugging & re-plugging in devices.
However, I have been using this one for almost 6 months now, I have all 7 ports filled up with 2 printers, a scanner, 2 USB drives, a card reader, & a TV tuner. No problem at all. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Nice hub at a great price Monday, February 23, 2009 A Customer from Michigan
Nice basic reliable hub with a small footprint. It's a better design with all of the ports on the front so you don't have cables sticking out in every direction. Excellent price with rebate. Was this review helpful?

5 of 5 D-link 7 Port USB Wednesday, February 11, 2009 BIll N. from Lynnwood
Works great and provides plenty of connection points. I don't have all things connected that are 2.0 but still get good results with this.
Thanks Buy.com for the quick delivery and great price. Was this review helpful?
4 of 5 2nd one I bought. Both are working fine. Monday, February 09, 2009 A Customer from Irving, Texas
This is the second D-Link 7 port hub I've bought. Both worked fine out of the box. My only complaint is that the lights on all seven ports are active all the time. D-Link says it is to show that the port is good, but I'd like it better if there was a light only when that port was in use. I'm just being picky. It's a great product. Was this review helpful?

5 of 5 Good compact design Thursday, January 29, 2009 John from Brandon, FL
Takes up very little space and works very well from the time it is plugged in. Expect good service from it since I have other D-Link products and got excellent customer service when needed. The $10 rebate makes it even more appealing. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 D-Link 7 port USB2 hub Thursday, January 15, 2009 John R from Tucson, AZ
The D-Link USB2 7 port hub works as advertised. I had a 4 port D-link USB2 hub for several years and it finally failed. This 7 port hub was a good price at Buy.com plus I am supposed to get a $10 rebate.
I feel this is a good purchase. Was this review helpful?
